"As soon as we arrived, I INSTANTLY felt the tension leave my shoulders and knots disappear out of my neck. I went straight to the picturesque backyard lakeview & listened to the ducks and birds until sunset that was magestically magenta. I HAD to go LIVE on Facebook!!! Everyone loved the post & chimed in. It was thee perfect start to my birthday weekend! I was intimidated to operate the grill but the owner was MORE than happy to call us and carefully walk us through - step by step. Now , we're bonafide experts .... LOL, self proclaimed - that is. The jacuzzi was the cherry on top! We enjoyed it very much, almost as much as the firepit. We sincerely hated to leave. The lines of communication were EXCELLENT & EXPEDITIOUS, very friendly. Our only complaint is the way the water smelt, a little swampy. But I guess that maybe something out of their immediate control. Coming from NYC, it was a great getaway and change of scenery. Beware, if you make plans in the city limits of Chicago, leave 3 hours prior to your ETA. NO EXAGGERATION, distance and traffic are A!L!O!T!"

"My family and I stayed here for my son's graduation from Naval boot camp. The house is very relaxing with a gorgeous view of the lake. It accommodates pets and has plenty of space for large families. The beds were super comfy and so was the spacious couch in the main living room. I loved that the hosts baked us cookies and left treats. Highly commend if you're in the area."

"The property was very clean, except the broken dishwasher that had a foul odor. Be advised to always ask more questions. This is on me. The description said towels were provided I assumed that would include wash cloths, hand towels and kitchen towels. THEY WERE NOT. The TV did not have sound. We tried every AV trick in the book. Occasional ants noted in master bedroom and in living room. I’ve used VRBO many times and this was the first time I have been truly disappointed in a property. I will say the property owner was prompt in responding to all of my questions"

"Knowing this was a newer listing, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect on arrival. However, once we were there, we loved every aspect! Plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. Inside: Open kitchen, dining area and family room was extremely functional for multiple people all enjoying time together. Each room had its own individual temperature control, which was beneficial for the wide range of needs for our family. Every comfort was attended to inside, including TVs in all rooms with plenty of viewing options for all ages. Outside: Multiple areas to relax and have some fun. Large fenced in yard so dog could run freely, flat for yard games and separate living space with pool table which made for relaxing escape. A bunch of nice touches for kids and adults alike. But our favorite was the peacefulness of the property as boat traffic was minimal, view was great, used the dock a number of times to tie up and take a break from being on the lakes with 24’ pontoon, fire-pit was out near water and very spacious. There were a few things that owner was still working on but that’s to be expected and is actually appreciated as they continue to upgrade the experience. Communication with owner was exceptional. Obviously, we thoroughly enjoyed the property and would highly recommend !"
