Staff were lovely and helpful and the meals were delicious and interesting and the setting inside and outside for dinner and breakfast were wonderful!! Thank you thank you so much!! "Comfortable and simple hostel. Nice room with everything necessary, could have had individual lights for each bed. Safe and quiet area up on the hill but very close to the rest of Menaggio. Good boat connections to Varenna and Bellagio and bus connections to the rest of Lake Como and Lugano!"

"The property would have been great only if they picked up our luggage from the bus port. It is high up in the mountain, very difficult to drag your luggage. Not enough warning provided as to how difficult it would be to take your baggage. No taxi, no pick up, I saw other guests who almost cried, dragging their luggage up to the hotel often on narrow oncoming traffic."

"Wonderful family-run hotel in Tremezzina. It is a beautiful property with good sized clean rooms, a nice pool and a view that cannot be beat. The included breakfast is very good, as is the evening dinner service they offer. But waht really makes it a great place is the family that runs the hotel."

"Only a few spots for parking, but nice and close to the train station. Amazing an helpful staff, who new good Englishand were ready to help all the time. Amazing breakfast as well. I would say spend the extra money and get the lake facing view. "
