Stayed just 2 nights, inside property rooms lovely and warm, very clean bedding and apartment. Outside of property gave a bad impression, needs a repaint or refresh. Would have liked a better welcome pack especially choice of tea, english tea would have been greatly received. Considering 4 in a room 1 T bag pp wasnt very good for 2 nights and 3 days, had to buy our own and milk. Overall what we needed was a clean bed for the night so that was fine. Good place to put your head down if visiting for a quick cheap trip.

The apartment was perfect for us, everything we needed, helpful hosts. Trams stop very nearby, also could walk to the centre in 20 mins.

The location is great, being relatively close to the city center. The apartment itself was a bit disappointing. The sofa beds are quite old and not so comfortable. Some things did not work properly but the receptionist was kind enough to fix them.

Dear Carmina, thanks for your feedback. After having 2 years of Covid and lock downs,.. we had no chance to renew our equippment due to the no income. Now we can successively invest and renew things. So next time when you are here you will see a lot of new things brgds walter

The location is excellent for seeing the old city and the Christmas markets. Apartments are roomy,clean, and well equipped. We extended our stay for 4 more days because the apartment is so comfortable.

Dear Anonymus thanks for your feedback which does not give us the chance to answer to your complaints. As written in the listing the fotos are symbolic ones and sometime especially in hot wheather periods we try to supply our guests with the apts facing the yard because they are more cool best greetings walter ( not anonymous)

Not service!!! It’s just an apartment, they have the same sistem as Airbnb, no reception!!! Nobody is there

Thanks for your feedback. As you could read at the door of the reception the office is not permanently occupied but you can reach it 24h by phone and the cleaning servic is here from 0900 - 1500 every day best greetings

We had a wonderful time and the location was perfect! We'd never rented an apt before when traveling and it worked out GREAT! The neighborhood had the feeling of an up and coming neighborhood with galleries, gritty shops, and the university down the street. Highly walkable and with a street car across the street from the apt. Nearby grocery stores made it easy to pick up morning pastries, a snack or dinner. The apt was very clean and simple. It was great to have a kitchen and we definitely used it. We wished for a dish rack to make it easier to wash/dry dishes. The office staff was helpful and made excellent suggestions. We had a wonderful time and loved the location.

The appartment was so lovely, very clean and spacious and we had everything we needed. The WiFi was very fast and the room was always warm (it was very cold outside) Walter was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice accommodation and a good value for money
The building is decent and the rooms are nice. The pictures in the website are a good reflection of the place. Overall, this is a good selection and worth the price for it

Parked outside hotel to checkin, unload luggage, and purchase short term parking permit. In less than 5-min, I was given two parking tickets before I could even get back with the permits. Very poor setup for checkin

Not as pictured on the website. Room was older and not as nice as shown in the picture for the superior apartment. Room was in okay condition. Our neighbors room had a hole in the wall looking in to another persons room.

Beware when main photo is pillow! But very noisy with window open and could use a ceiling fan. No lobby, poor hallway lighting, room furnishings adequate. Nice staff. Have plans for update! Hurry!

Nice apartment near AKH public hospital
10 min walk from the hospital as we had a friend in the hospital...trams at door. No 43, 44 go to museum area with 10/15 min walk. Same trams go to Alser Strauss station which you can get a train/tram to Schonbrunn and also to the rural station Meidling which took us to Salzburg... bus 13a was useful as it took us to the a big shopping centre n back. hotel is great...large apartment was good, sleeps 3 n very comfortable n spacious. The small one had the basics (no dishwasher, coffee drip machine but has a Nespresso machine)..Walter the manager was extremely helpful and we were really appreciative. Yes, we would stay here again if we ever come back to Vienna. For some reason pillows were too soft were ever we stayed in Austria.

Good value option in a good location.
We stayed in the larger apartment, which was very spacious and bright with lovely windows overlooking the street below. This was a great choice for parents with a young baby (you do get a bit of traffic noise despite the double glazing). The hotel provided travel cot, changing facility and high chair. We really enjoyed our stay and made the most of the onsite parking and central location. The apartment is near many amenities (shops and supermarkets) and a short walk to nearby sights in Vienna. The apartment is in need of updating but was comfortable and good value. The apartment could benefit from cable TV.

Good location with free off-street parking during the weekend. Comfortable accommodation. Not as was described and the pictures. We were expecting something more luxurious per the listing. Beds were sofa-beds with poor mattresses so sleeping was not comfortable. Toddler bed was fine. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Kitchen could have been cleaner, especially the stinking kitchen cloth ensured we didn't use the kitchen at all. Some pressure to buy their parking but we found some off-street parking right next to the apartments. Probably won't stay there again although not bad if you know what you are paying for.

Simply great! the hotel was situated in a very convenient location allowing me and my family to move around the city with ease. Although, i would not describe "Appartments in der Josefstadt" as a Hotel rather a fully furnished flat with all amenities we needed readily available to make our stay a very pleasant one. The staffs were superb, very accommodating and gives some very useful tips to enjoy Vienna.

comfortable and convenient apartments in Vienna
As the name implies, these are apartments. Very clean, perfectly located near the University of Vienna and within walking distance of the Ring (museums, opera, etc), as well as the tram line. Quiet. Check-in was very simple and friendly. Good coffee shops and breakfast places only footsteps away. No hotel perks, but who needs to spend their time in a hotel while in Vienna?

Spent three days. It is very well located, spacious, clean and well equipped.Kitchen is very nice. The lock was problematic but must be repaired by now. The lady managing the place is very nice. I liked my stay.Great place if you want space and comfort. Lovely location too.

A really lovely, spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen (although no oven) in a great location. Staff were lovely and very helpful with excellent English but reception was not open when advertised.

Not a 4-star hotel!
This is an acceptable and affordable suite experience, but not a traditional hotel. There is no staff on site for much of the day, making for a very unpleasant arrival experience. The building is dingy from the outside, and the entrance is almost unmarked. A phone call is required to be buzzed into a vestibule where an electronic code releases a room key. After arrival, however, the accommodations are fine.

Very ideal location with many shops, supermarket & eateries around. There is a bus downstairs to bring u to the Hauptbahnhof directly & two tram service to get u to the city in 2 stops. Alternatively the walk to city centre is about 10-15 mins. Hotel staff are helpful and speaks fluent English.

I liked staying here. Close to the central city and public transport (railway, U-Bahn, etc), nevertheless quiet. Booking and service etc. straightforward, friendly, and uncomplicated.

Excellent location and accomodations
I was in Vienna for a conference at Vienna University, so the hotel was in a perfect location. It is also excellently located for public transportation and walking the city. The managerial staff was kind and helpful; the apartment was spacious and well-appointed. Highly recommended
