"My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony on a high floor. Unlike other hotels when I entered the room lights were on, natura sounds were playing, a personal letter was waiting for me welcoming me, and there was a stuffed yellow octopus smiling at me from my very comfortable bed. Positive first impression. Kitchen was lovely and the coffee was pour over which is a nice departure from the usual drip machine making, Exceptional mention is the bathroom which has a shower and a bathtub. I love this dual option which few hotels offer. Tip: have dinner at the Aegir restaurant downstairs inside the hotel, wonderful foods with just enough portions to satisfy and a fun, caring staff."

"Excellent location! Within walking distance to everything touristy! Breakfast was fantastic every morning. 2nd last day one of the elevators broke down so waiting for the elevator got annoying."

"The hotel looks old and not overly exciting when you get in but the rooms are so cute and nice, the kitchen and living room are such a nice touch. The pool area air is very humid but works well and is a nice size. I loved that there was a great game room. Overall this hotel is old but cute and practical."
