Basic Hotel near the Beach
It was an OK location near the beach. Wifi did not work which was a problem. Room was small but clean. Breakfast is good. It is not right on the beach, as photos indicate, but across the road. You'll have to pay for a lounge chair from another vendor.

this is a very old hotel but its right on the beach across the road and at one end of a very long promenade.its ok for a short stay ..breakfast poor and no parking ..you have to park on the road opposite and pay at meter .front rooms good view but very noisey at night

Small room (not possible to have 2 suitcases open at the same time), but clean. Bathroom big and pleasing.Breakfast buffet ok, good fresh out of the oven croissant, but the rest is meh. Walls and doors are thin like paper: I could hear my neighboor snore both nights. There was a large group of kids (soccer team) in the floors under us, we could hear all the yelling, running and slamming of doors. Bed quite hard and pillows very thin, pretty much my two worst nights in Italy. Location very good though, just by the beach. Staff nice despite limited english.

Beach holiday
The hotel is situated right opposite the beach in the center of viareggio. We got to the hotel around 9PM and got the room fine, We would recommend learning some Italian (the basics) before you go as it makes things a little easier when checking in. The room was lovely and clean and had a view out to sea. Breakfast consisting of a continental buffet was lovely and gave a good choice. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a good location and friendly staff.

Whilst the location of this hotel is exceptional for the beach resort of Viareggio (being central & overlooking the promenade) what lies within this 3 star residence is a let down i'm afraid. The reception area was bright and airy, and we had no problems checking in,done and dusted in under 5 mins. The staff were friendly for the duration of our four night stay, but I'm beginning to run out of plus points now! Our room(2 adlts/twin) was way too small and the beds were sadly lacking in length. We became experts at walking sideways around the room! The decor was old and tired, unless chipped, pink wooden side cabinets and a chair from the 80's is your thing! This place is crying out for a complete revamp and much needed modernisation. The distinct lack of toileteries in the bathroom (also tiny) was disappointing. Breakfast was nothing to write home about either,even by continental standards. There just seemed to be yoghurts and that awful juice from concentrate. However, our room service was great, the room was spotless and pristine every afternoon,with fresh towels provided daily. So, if a dead basic hotel,lacking in most facilities is your thing,and you just need a bed for the night,then search no further.But truth be told, we wouldn't stay here again.

Preis-Leistung ist Unschlagbar.
Hotel liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade, welche dank Nebensaison sehr ruhig war. Zimmer sind spartanisch eingerichtet, aber sauber. Klar könnte alles mal eine Renovierung vertragen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und direkt zur Promenade raus. Daher auch mit Meerblick. Zu dem Preis der Hammer. Englisch oder gar deutsch wurde nicht gesprochen. Wir kamen aber gut klar. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Das Hotel war wirklich super. Freundliche Leute. Hauptsächlich Italiener, nur wenige konnten Englisch. Das Zimmer war sauber und wurden auch immer wieder gut sauber gemacht. Schön wäre noch ein Tisch auf dem Balkon gewesen.

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig, allerdings wird man von Moskitos aufgefressen und die Matratzen sind wie überall in Italien sehr weich.

V hoteli som bola druhý raz, cielene som si ho vybrala pre veľmi dobrú polohu, pomer cena/kvalita aj príjemný personál. Izba má všetko, čo treba, tento rok som mala aj výhľad na more, čiže maximálna spokojnosť.

Vi hadde bestilt rom til 4 stk med ett soverom og to senger i oppholdsrom. Vi fikk et trasig slitt rom der alle måtte sove i samme rom. Fikk ikke byttet rom da det var fullt belegg. Dårlig rengj på badet, spesielt dusj og i fuger osv. Et minikjøleskap var alt vi hadde å ha vann i. Frokosten var grei, men ikke frukt. Lite utvalg kl 09.00 og måtte be om å få mer brød osv. Mye eldre gjester. Dårlig wifi der vi hadde rommet vårt. Eneste pluss er bra aircond og ar vi hadde tilgang til felles terrasse fra rommet vårt. Obs! Dyrt for solsenger på stranden, men får litt rabatt fra hotellet og bra standard på stranden.

Läget är perfek. Lätt att komma till med bil. Välskött strand på andra sidan vägen. Vi hade ett fantastiskt rum med utgång till en takterrass. Annars rent o fräscht. Trevligt bemötande personal.

Notre arrêt à Viareggio était juste un passage sur la route du retour. L'hôtel Bella Riviera est bien situé par rapport au bord de mer, nous avions un petit balcon pour profiter du coucher de soleil et globalement la chambre était confortable pour un tarif économique. L'hôtel est par contre un peu vieillissant, le WIFI fonctionne très mal et le petit-déjeuner n'est pas forcément au top. Le parking public en face de l'hôtel est assez cher car il s'agit de la promenade de bord de mer.

Fin utsikt mot havet, många nära restauranger
Drivs av familj i 3 generationer, endast den yngre talar engelska. Kändes mer som pensionat. Frukosten var ganska enkel. Läget var dock helt fantastiskt. Ganska litet rum med dubbelsäng och liten balkong med utsikt mot havet. Duschen och toalettutrymmet var lite slitet men fungerade ändå bra.

5 Tage Kurzurlaub in Viareggio
Zimmer war spärlich eingerichtet, dafür aber sauber. Mein Zimmer hatte einen super Blick auf das Meer. Das war Klasse. Die Zimmer mit Balkon nach vorne raus liegen direkt an der Hauptstraße. Dadurch eventuell für einige zu laut. Für mich kein Problem. Die Reinigung des Zimmers erfolgte täglich und zufriedenstellend. Frühstück gab es von 7.30 uhr bis 9.30 uhr und es war in ordnung für ein 3*** Hotel. Tv Empfang war da, für mich aber überflüssig da ich kein italienisch spreche. Es gab keine deutschen Sender. Dafür war das WLAN Signal super und ausreichend für Tv Streams auf dem iPad.
