"The location was great - just a 10 min bike ride into town. The staff were top notch - they were all so amazing to deal with and really took care of you. The only disappointment was the room for how much I paid for it. I was expecting it to feel a bit more high end. It was a comfortable bed. The bathroom was tiny (if you are using the toilet your legs are pretty much touching the shower). Very basic otherwise. The lobby and breakfast and pool areas were nice and lots of bikes to rent. "This place was better than I could have hoped for - so very new and modern in an ancient place. Best of all worlds. Incredible blackout shades. Very effective AC. Walking distance to all Viareggio has to offer (the beaches!). Shout out to Giacomo! Before our visit we reserved two different beach clubs - Bagno La Pia was excellent as was the restaurant there. Bagno Amedea was not great - they overcharged not realizing I had a reservation and did not apply the 10% discount (coupon from Vu Suites) for the new services either."
"This was a last minute one night booking...the hotel front desk staff very nice, helpful, the only thing we arrived late and parking was full. The front desk lady who checked us in ( forgot her name) offer her parking spot if we couldn't find street parking. We did find parking behind the hotel. This was very thoughtful of her. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to chose from...wish we could hv enjoyed more of this beautiful hotel."
