"Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. The highlight of course was learning about the history of the home and it's original owner. Very interesting and very sweet that he took the time to share it with us. What more can I say? "The hotel, like all others in Mont Saint Michel, is rather dated. Notwithstanding, the location is perfect, rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is good, considering the other options around. The bed was quite comfortable. Overall, given the few choices available in the area, this property is a reasonable choice for a couple of nights, which is enough for you to explore Mont Saint Michel and surrounding areas."

"Good hotel if you want to see Mont Saint Michele, bus goes regularly from just across the road, takes about 5 minutes. Ample parking outside the hotel. Overall the Hotel was very good, nothing fancy but clean, staff are nice, breakfast was good too. Would recommend."

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great time staying on the island in this cute 4 single bed room. It had 2 single beds pushed together on the main floor and then a loft with 2 single beds. The bathroom was large and newly redone. We were able to open the windows for a draft and it was very quiet until around 9am. We were able to enjoy exploring the island and liked the back door that went right out onto the ramparts. There is a very cute courtyard that guests can access that we didn't realize. Beautiful flowers and tables, we had a picnic out there. "

"Very nice place to stay. Very good service and staff is really great. Just a few minutes by car to a parking lot or 25 minutes walk to the Mont St-Michel shuttles in a safe track. Nice spot to see Mont St-Michel from a distance in the morning. If you like sheeps, you will be able to see them pass by twice a day. Very cool to see them with the dogs doing their job."
