I live about 100 miles from thus hotel, a friend and I were going to crash after a concert and we didn't feel comfortable staying so we drove home after the show and didn't stay.

We usually stay here when we travel to Ventura for dinner. Always a great spot for the price you pay. Rooms are okay, but again price. We will continue to stay whike traveling.

This was the first time booking a room from them. It is very clean in the parking lot, very quiet. My room was a standard room and it was clean!! No residual smell in the room. Has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a huge tv that actually works. The owners of this hotel are wonderful and respectful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. When I come to visit, I will be staying there again. Also, the price is reasonable vs other places similar to this hotel.

This is a family-run motel and they are friendly and engaging. It is also a great value. I paid $82 for a room mid-week when the Motel 6 down the street was charging $180. It is well-located in the center of town and was quiet. I will stay there again.

Weigh your options

The hotel was clean, but electricity didn't work for the first hour I was there, and there was a $40 deposit in cash to return room key (digital card), and it was mentioned several times no visitors allowed, even when I checked out I was asked if I had any visitors, I explained that my brother was here to pick me up, so now I can check out. It was the least expensive of all the hotels around.

Modest, but clean and more than adequate. Fairly large fridge was a nice surprise! Within walking distance is a pizza/brew restaurant and a bit farther we discovered a place with great fish tacos.

super close to the beach, clean, safe. the restroom sink took a while to drain the water after washing hands or brushing teeth. the restroom smelled bad when i first walked in, but the smell went away. other than that, the room was very nice!

Good if your desperate

The lady in the office was rude for no reason, just out rite nasty. The room was bare bones but that's what I expected for 85 bucks. When i left my room at with an hour before checkout she turned my room card off and I had to get her each time I wanted to get back in, rediculas

Initially, the unit didn’t give us a feeling of cleanliness. We asked the cleaning person to come clean the next day. After the cleaning, it looked so much better. Dusts were gone, floors are clean, bathroom sparkled. It changed how we felt about the motel room, from a 2-star to a 3-star. The bed was supportive, there was a mini fridge and a microwave. Pretty good!

I had a class in Ventura. The Ventura Beach House Motel, was very nice. The problems was they only had 1 wash cloth in the bathroom. Also, they need an ice machine. They told my husband. Oh it’s not far there’s a liquefied store down the road. In the dark they said it was walking distance, about a quarter of a mile give or take a few steps he made it. Then he had to walk back in the dark with the ice. Other than these 2 issues we enjoyed our stay.

Uncomfortable bed, shower dirty. Tv would not work and when they came and fixed it. It would not change channels. Didn’t bother to bring them back to fix 2nd time. Thin walls heard everything next door
