From the time I checked in until the time we left, all of the staff at Pierpont Inn in Ventura, CA were friendly and went the extra mile to answer any guest questions. The front desk staff, both day and night, were very nice and went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent. We only stayed one night, but the service was outstanding and the ocean view was beautiful. The queen suite was awesome — it had a huge shower and a separate bedroom and living room with a door in between for added privacy. The suite also had a great ocean view, which made the stay even better. It also came with free breakfast, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely stay again.

property has a beaufitul, peaceful feel, perfectly located across from the beach and Ventura pier, clean pool with towels, pet friendly and attentive staff. breakfast was good and fresh but we had to wait for staff to re-fill coffee, juice and some food items. I would recommend this property and stay here myself with out a doubt!

The grounds are beautiful. The Inn is old but they are working on it. We love the big rooms because we are quilters and bring our machines, cutting boards, etc and there is still room to spread out and pin your quilt.

Breakfast was okay. Eggs were powder eggs, bacon was cheap sausage could have had color. Potatoes were good. Parking was good had our own private stop sense we got the cottage room. Staff was nice and helpful. Room could have been cleaner sense i had 2 spiders crawl on me. Floors werent very clean either. But the stay was nice and relaxing so it was nice either way. Rustic and charming.

Lovely ocean views, big room that had a back door to the pool area with a little private sitting area. You can walk down to the beach in about 5 minutes, 20 minutes to the pier. Property is in the process of refurbishing but all the essentials are there.

The hotel is an older hotel that has been updated. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and greenery. We could see the ocean from our second-floor room balcony. The bathroom did have an odor, I believe it was the old pipes/plumbing that allowed the odor to enter. The outdoor breakfast area was perfect for starting the day! It was a partially covered patio with a large window facing the ocean and the hotel's flower garden. We walked to the beach in under 5 minutes and walked over to a pizzeria and to a pub within a 12-15 minute walk.

Room was clean, the heated pool was nice. Beds were comfy. Property is very large. Can't believe this hotel has been standing since 1910. Breakfast was alright, nothing special. Staff were all very nice. Water pressure in the shower could have been better. We brought some food for the freezer since it was listed in the amenities; disappointed to find there was no freezer in the room.
