Stylish Duplex with Stunning Private Courtyard in Dorsoduro

The house is on two levels with an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor. This opens onto a private courtyard which can be used for al fresco dining, maybe a glass of Prosecco before dinner or just enjoying Venice outdoors. There are two matching sofas in the lounge area, one of which converts into a double sofa bed. There is a separate bathroom with wash basin and WC.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower, bidet and WC. The house has been renovated recently with attractive cherry wood flooring. All of the beds, sofas, garden furniture and kitchen equipment are brand new.
The house is located in picturesque Dorsoduro, just off the Campo Santa Margherita. It is an easy 5 minute walk to Piazzale Roma and the railway station. Despite experiencing more of the 'real Venice', access to the main tourist attractions, such as San Marco, is easy and fast, giving the best of both worlds


There is a flat screen TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs available. Please feel free to bring your own DVDs if you want to watch these at the house. Similarly, there is a CD player and radio for your use. The house has it's own WiFi connection.

perfect!

We had 6 total, 3 couples and it was enough room for what we needed. Our stay was absolutely perfect! Only a 5 minute walk from a vaparetto stop. Quaint area and nice to come back to and enjoy patio for quiet evening. a little grocery store was nearby for cold meats, chesses, fresh buns and wine/beer. I would recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again!

Off the beaten path

This was an easy location regarding transportation (about a 8 minute walk from Bus/water shuttle). The patio was nice and overall the place has a lot of space. The shower however is very small (even based on Europe standards) and the garbage situation can be a challenge. Was nice to have the space to spread out though.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and supermarket. Short walk to Campo Santa Margherita, a great square. Short walk to Piazzalo Roma and the train station.

Wonderful neighborhood

I love the location and the backyard. The apartment is well equipped and can easily sleep four people. We are close to supermarkets, the vaporetto and restaurants.

Great location

The location qas close to everything. The AC was very appreciated and functioning very well which was great given the very hot weather. We really enjoyed the terrace outside. The neighborhood was very quiete. We liked our stay.

Fantastic house and location

This house was great. We had plenty of space and the house had everything you would need for your stay. The location was a quiet neighborhood, with a short walk to anywhere one might want to go. The host was fantastic too. The shower was a little small but we all made it work. Thanks for a great visit!

Tranquil

This is a lovely place, clean, good beds, good shower. Very quiet. It was very hot when we were there, air conditioning was life saving. Kitchen is well equipped. Patio very nice!!

Great place to stay!

The vrbo was clean and nice ! It’s in a great location and seemed very safe. Was not hard to get from a private water taxi. The trash takeout was a little confusing and it didn’t have a dryer. Other than that it was awesome ! I would stay again without a doubt.

Great apt for family

Relatively spacious apartment, good A/C, internet, beds were comfortable and private enclosed backyard. The hosts’s assistants were very helpful and provided good info about restaurants close to the apartment. Only complaint was 2 rolls of tp for family of 5 staying 4 nights.

The apartment was located in a quite neghborhood. The back patio was beautiful. We explored the area. Great shops and resturants. Grocery store was close. Loved the daily adventures in the city. Close to transportation. Would highly recommend staying there. Stay out of the crowds.

Great location.

Had I been told earlier, to bring a can of mosquito spray would have been appreciated, other than that the accommodation was close to Water Taxis and walking distance to many restaurants & shops. My daughter had 12 mosquito stings.

Venice gem

Great local area away from the heavily populated touristy areas. Well situated to piazzale di Roma- great for boats to islands and airport.Well equipped apartment with a lovely courtyard to soak up the sun. Very functional property that can spacing accommodate 4 adults. I would highly recommend.Property management were great, always on hand when we had a question. Only downside of Venice is the rubbish system- you have to take all your rubbish to these points/boats- bit of a hassle! But that’s Venice.

Quaint Apartment

We loved the apartment. Check-in was easy. We we were sent clear and easy directions to the apt. The apt was everything the host described. There were 3 of us staying there and there was lots of room. The only suggestion I have for 5-star rating is to invest in better twin beds. The bed frames were a little shaky and they could use better mattresses. All other features were great!

Relaxed stay

After a very long, rough travel day, it was a relief to reach the apartment. It is as advertised and met our expectations. Easy communication with the host. Short walk to bus and train, although the stepped bridges are challenging with large suitcases. Also convenient to supermarket and vaporetto, which you can take to St Marks and Giudecca. So, a good place to stay if you do not want to be in the middle of tourist central.

Nice stay in Venice

Great stay in Venice for few days. Well located close to 10mins walk inking from piazzale Roma in a quiet area. Only children from school are a bit noisy around 8h15 but it’s a good time to start visiting the area anyway. Place is clean with a shower and 2 toilets and also close to campo margarita for shipping and restaurant, bar. Really good communication with the owner and self checkin available for late arrival.

Lovely Apartment

This very clean and spacious apartment is fantastic!! All the comforts of home.The neighborhood is incredibly quiet. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during our stay so we did not get to use the private patio but im sure it would have been great. Walking distance to everything!!! I highly recommend!!!

Perfect for 3 generations of travelers

Everything was wonderful, including Location, restaurants within 10 minute walk, fully appointed with extra linens. There was nothing I would change about this with one exception. The power switch for the hot water and heat looks like a light switch and is right next to the toilet. Family members will surely accidentally turn it off just as ours did. Our only recommendation is they put a cover on it so that you cannot turn it off by accident

Perfect for a Family of Four.

This property was quaint and relaxing. It was close to the train station and a waterbus stop. There were nearby restaurants and sites to see. It also had a nice campo nearby. The kitchen was well equipped and a toilet on the main level. We used the washer and hung our clothes out to dry. The bedrooms and bathroom upstairs were as expected, comfortable and clean. Unexpectedly, we added two more friends a couple of weeks before arriving and albeit a little small for 6 adults, we enjoyed the flat. We paid a little more for the 2 extra people when we arrived. Our two friends used the sofa sleeper just fine, but the property comfortably sleeps four people. Be sure to read about the recycling so you don't miss it. Thank you for the stay - we enjoyed it!

Did not meet expectations.

The quality of this property was very much overstated in the listing. The photos are old and does not accurately represent the current state of the property. The couches were falling apart, leaving us covered in flakes of plastic and the twin beds are very hard; not well suited for an adult. Our towels were thread thin and see through, leaving us longing for a cozy towel after a shower. However, we appreciated that the property was well stocked with cutlery, plates, pots and pans. Location was far from the busy areas which we appreciated and found plenty of dinner options and a grocery store was close by.
