Palazzo Lezze - XVII century - Romantic apartment in Venice

Romantic and welcoming apartment, recently renovated, in a 17th-century building, located in the heart of the city's most characteristic neighborhood (Cannaregio).

In a very quiet and well-served location, with numerous traditional restaurants, bars, and shops.

Comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need (WiFi, A/C, TV, etc.), it comprises:
- Spacious double bedroom
- Large living room with a comfortable double sofa bed
- Large, well-equipped and recently renovated kitchen
- Comfortable bathroom.

The apartment has independent heating, a ceiling fan in the bedroom and A/C in the livingroom.

IMPORTANT: Italian law regulates:
- use of heating from October 15th to April 15th at a maximum temperature of 20°+2°C;
- use of A/C minimum internal temperature of the room cannot fall below 24°C and cannot be turned on if the external temperature is below 26°C.

Check-in times must be arranged in advance.
IMPORTANT: Upon arrival, please pay in cash the Tourist Tax (€4/night per person) and the €50 cleaning fee (not included in the apartment price).

During your stay, you can easily contact us for any needs you may have (we live upstairs in the same building).

A tour of the canals and islands of Venice on our boat is available upon request.

The apartment was in a beautiful old building with amazing architecture right off one of the main canals. What a great location in Venice, so close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions and away from the tourist areas, but close enough to walk to all the sites. The host are very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. Just wish it was a longer stay.

30 Day Stay

Property was in an excellent location. Close to neighborhood restaurants/bars. Easy walking distance to grocery stores, shops and Vaporetto stops. Close enough to have access to the major tourist attractions, but far enough to be out of the heavy tourist traffic areas.Kitchen was well equipped for an extended stay. Since we were there in cool weather, heat was important and it was always toasty warm in spite of being so close to the water.

Excellent stay in Cannaregio

I really enjoyed my stay in this well maintained and spotlessly clean apartment. It had all I needed for a great stay, right on a quiet canal street and really close to nice neighbourhood restaurants which are a bit quieter than most. Would highly recommend this property, great location, friendly host.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay in this property during Carnevale. Location is excellent, close to all of Venice's main attractions, yet the apartment is on a quiet waterfront street without much noise. Spacious and clean, with a well stocked kitchen. Supermarket, cafes and shops are conveniently just around the corner. Filippo is a very kind and helpful host. Thank you for everything!

Lovely Place

Filipo and Silvia have designed a lovely and very comfortable apartment located right by the canal. They are very responsive hosts and make themselves available. There are very good locally frequented restaurants nearby. The area is perfect - a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist center but close enough to get everywhere. We highly recommend for a stay in this most romantic city.

Great Location in Venice

We stayed at Palazzo Lezze for 5 nights in May, 2025. Filipino met us when we checked in and showed us around the apartment. He was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well furnished.The location is great: right on a canal and in a vibrant neighborhood. Every night, we strolled along the fondamenta and picked from numerous restaurants and bars. We enjoyed that the patrons were mainly locals. The apartment is easy walking distance to markets, ATMs, and many restaurants. It is also convenient to the vaporetto stop fondamenta de nova, with boats to Murano, the airport, the railway station, and the grand canal.Highly recommended! We would stay here again gladly!

Great host, perfect location

The apartment is on the first floor facing one of the canals in Cannaregio. Great location, with lots of neighborhood places to eat and enjoy but away from the busiest crowds of tourists. Supermarket, vaporetto stop at Ca D’Or, places to shop, restaurants all within a couple minutes. Clean, quiet, well-stocked apartment with secure entry.

Canal life in Venice

This first floor apartment was well appointed and in a great location. It was spacious and very comfortable for the two of us. It was enjoyable to see a canal through the bedroom and living room windows. .

Quiet area close to centre

Simple but had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen, everything worked, including the air-con. Really nice quiet area with a range of eateries 5 minutes from supermarket and Grand Canal vaporetta stop. Friendly helpful and good communication host. We would stay there again.

Spacious Apartment in Venice

Everything about this place is 5 stars. The locations is just steps away from Restaurants, Bars and Gelato. Our host gave us all the information we needed for transportation, sites and restaurants in a PDF they also contacted us using what’s app every step of the way. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Stay in Venice

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this apartment. It's in a great neighborhood, away from the busyness of the rest of Venice and has great restaurants and gelato right nearby. The apartment itself was clean, well appointed, and easy to access. The area and building felt very safe and, after days of climbing up and downstairs, the first floor location was appreciated. Perfect place in Venice!

My mom, my brother, and I stayed here for a weekend. The property is beautiful and far from the crowds but still very close (walking) to all the hot spots. Great getaway away from crowds

Check-in was a breeze. Communication with Filippo was always very quick and he was responsive to questions I had. Tons of room for 2 people and spacious enough for 4. We loved sitting on the steps right outside the door at the edge of the canal in the evening. Close proximity to some great restaurants, the water bus to Murano, Burano and the airport. We loved our time here.

Paradise found

Beautiful17th century palace converted into flats. Ground floor flat with windows opening onto the canal and walkways. Filippo was an excellent host - everything explained, and very available for advice, etc. Handy for shopping, eating, sightseeing - but off the tourist track. We're definitely coming back!

Spring in Venice

The property is comfortable and well equipped. Filippo was very welcoming and had provided plenty of information prior to our arrival. It is located near to a Vaporetto stop and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. There were only 2 of us but the space would suit up to 4. We had. an excellent time.

Location, Location, Location!

This apartment was right where we wanted to be! The view caught my attention when booking this apartment, but it was the fun street and proximity to everything that made it a great spot. Vino Vero and Al Timon just a block or so away, great food and cichetti! Gorgeous views, and so much more. The apartment was so spacious and included everything we needed for a great stay. The host was very responsive and provided answers to every question we had. I would definitely choose this same apartment on a visit back to Venice.

Great location

You are walking distance to just about everything including good restaurants. The apartment is located on the first floor and it can get a little loud on the weekends because a lot of people are walking by but that didn’t bother us. There was WiFi but our devices would not connect stating low security as the reason. The hot and cold water in the shower is tricky to figure out and changes while showering so be careful with young children. Overall it fit our needs and the location is what we were paying for so it was good for two adults that were only there to sleep.

Colours of Venice

Excellently situated, perfect for exploring all of Venice on foot. Great for food shopping,and for eating out…very unspoilt. The apartment is spacious and comfortable.Two minor concerns…the recycling though very detailed in instructions didn’t make sense with the bins, and the shower is very difficult to regulate going from near scalding to cold, independently of the controls. But with all of wonderful Venice on your doorstep, the apartment definitely is exactly as advertised.

Delightful

My daughter and I came for a long weekend to celebrate my 80th birthday, and stayed in Filippo's ground floor flat. The flat is beside a canal, and has a wide pavement in front. The area suited us, small friendly cafes along the pathway where we breakfasted and had an evening spritz .A wonderful icecream shop and bakery are close by.Supermarket not far away either. The kitchen is very well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, an array of pans and a good gas cooker.It was enjoyable to come home in the evenings and cook our own dinner, and relax after exciting days absorbing all the wonderful things there are to see in Venice.

Perfectly delightful!

The apartment was delightful! The photos did not do it justice. The decor was charming, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was excellent and hearing the water from the canal just outside the bedroom window was so soothing at night. We were initially a bit concerned that we'd be too far away from museums and the like, but it was only 5 mins walk to the Ca'Doro Vaporetto stop for the #1 (which takes you anywhere in Venice) and maybe 10 mins to the Fondemente Nove to go to Murano, Burano or the airport. It's such a lovely neighborhood, not touristy in the slightest. There's a grocery near by, a local bakery down the block, a wine bar and many restaurants. We've already recommended the apartment to several friends and would absolutely book it again on our next trip.

A lovely homely flat in a central location away from husle and bustle

We had a self check in and check out as Filippo was on vacation- BUT he was on hand via phone and email. Which was great. The flat was homely and easy to get to main site eg 20 mins walk to St Marks. The bed and sofabed were comfortably and the kitchen was a decent size to eat breakfast .The kitchen has a washing machine and drying rack which means easy to travel light. The local supermarket is 5mins and has lots of fresh provision and ready to eat meals in case you want to take a picnic. Easy to get to Vaperetto stop and lots of nice restaurants and bars just minutes from the building. Would return again
