The San Giacomo apartments in Venice are three elegant properties in an ancient sixteenth century building in the sestiere Santa Croce, far from the crowds of tourists, immersed in a genuine Venetian atmosphere. The ideal location, quiet but just a short distance from this wonderful city’s main attractions, is one of the advantages of these apartments, all of which have an equipped outdoor area. The "Giardino" apartment on the ground floor has direct, private access to the garden. It includes a living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms (one with a WC, bidet and basin, the other with a shower and basin), and can comfortably accommodate up to four people. The restored interior is elegant and welcoming and furnished in classical Venetian style. The apartment also has a private part of a delightful, jasmine scented garden surrounded by ancient walls (the other part belongs to the "Giardino Due" apartment). Equipped with table and chairs it is the ideal spot for outdoor meals and for relaxing after a day’s sightseeing in magnificent Venice. The property is just a short walk from the Rialto market, the Frari Church, the San Giovanni Evangelista school, the 'Ca Pesaro Modern Art Gallery, as well as the vaporetto stop on the Riva di Biasio on the Grand Canal, and many shops, bars, taverns, restaurants and the characteristic bacari, where you can taste cicheti accompanied by excellent wines.

Sehr gute Lage - 8 min vom Bahnhof entfernt, sehr gute Essensmöglichkeiten, ein Coop und ein Bäcker gleich um die Ecke. Es war herrlich am Morgen durch die Gasse, über die Brücke und den Platz zum Bächer zu schlendern. Schwiegig war die Entscheidung, was ich von dem reichhaltigen Angobt mitnehme.
Der Empfang im Objekt war sehr freundlich und unkopliziert.
Die Wohnung ist einfach spitze und sehr gut gelegen auch für alle anderen Ausflüge.
Den hübschen Platz im Garten konnten wir leider nicht nutzen - es war zu kalt und zu nass. Ein Frühstück dort ist sicher traumhaft.
Ach ja, es ist eine sehr ruhige Gegend!
