Wonderful stay in Venice!

Incredibly centralized location on the canal! Really low foot traffic. Short walk to shops and cafes. Easy communication with host who gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Lovely spacious and comfortable apartment with all the amenities we needed. We had a fabulous stay!

Once we became acquainted with the area, we found many great restaurants, shops and found it easy to take water buses to tourist spots. We liked being in a bit quieter part of Venice, with many great areas to explore.

Great Apartment!

We really enjoyed this apartment with its high ceilings, and overall layout. It’s situated right on the canal and it’s a short walk to the Nova Strada with its shops and restaurants. The hosts were very accommodating. We would stay here again!

Our family of 4 (including two teenagers) loved staying in this clean, spacious apartment away from the crowds of Venice. There is a grocery store around the corner, and several restaurants and bars nearby. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely place with a great location

Really nice and peaceful apartment which is close to all the things. Extra bonus was the kids toys that my child really enjoyed playing with since she was already bored with her own toys. Easy to get to from the train station and the host met us at the water boat stop which made it even easier

Perfect Apartment in Venice

We had the best stay here. Perfect location, away from the crowds but close enough to delicious food, small local grocery, fresh fruit/vegetable stand and water taxi to airport. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had, met us at the property, provided a quick rundown of the apartment and helped us with the water taxi to the airport. Perfect spot for your stay in Venice!

Beautiful getaway on the water

This second floor apartment overlooks a quaint neighborhood canal, so we felt right in the mix of Venetian family life, rather than surrounded by tourists. Although early mornings were a bit noisy (the canals are used to bring in food and other supplies), the atmosphere was calm and friendly, with good restaurants and grocery supplies close by. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect Location in a Quiet Neighborhood

The apartment is in a wonderful area away from the tourist crowds. It was easy to walk everywhere or catch a vaporetto. The area around the apartment had some restaurants, a small supermarket, fruit/vegetable stand, cheese shop and coffee bar. The apartment itself was large and had balconies overlooking a Canal. A great place to stay !

Right on a canal in a quiet neighborhood

Our first trip to Venice and we were charmed. The apartment is spacious, comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the canal activities. There is a very good restaurant close by, Vecia Cavsna, and we went there twice. The washing machine was a plus. For our short stay, our place let us feel like residents. Highly recommend.

Live like a local

Fantastic location, away from the main tourist area but close to everything. Handy to supermarket and restaurants. Early morning deliveries to the stores are part of the fabric of the city, but quite noisy - but it's a great time to be out and about to watch as the locals rush off to work or study, while you sip an espresso and munch on a breakfast pastry. The apartment is spacious and light-filled. The balconies are a bonus.

This apt was in the perfect location. A 15 min walk into Venice. Along the way were markets, shops, a little grocery store and many excellent restaurants. There is one flight of stairs to enter the apt. It was very clean. Balconies all around over looking canal and walkway. We felt very safe walking anywhere. The apt. is very nice one of the nicest I've stayed in with VRBO. One problem can't open the windows at night because of mosquitos, no screens and A.C. not allowed until June we were there the very end of May. Not the most convenient location.

Quiet side of Venice

The property is as listed. In a quiet area away from the crowds of Venice. Valentina met us outside the apartment and showed us all we needed to know. Everything is there to make a meal if you like. We did not but appreciated the fridge, the Kurig and the washing machine. It rained our last afternoon there and we were glad to return to dry out and relax for the evening. Only complaint- the towels were thin and warn. The apt has its own heat which you can regulate which was night on chillly nights. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Venice with a view

Attila’s place was great. I loved the balconies overlooking the canals and how wonderful to have air conditioning in our bedrooms. It’s a spacious flat too. The only issue was trying to find it. I got the latitude and longitude plus the address but the apartment had an “A” after the number which I couldn’t find. I did find the Alla Vite Dorata hotel right acrossed the street and their website gave excellent directions from any means of travel. The garbage man did come early but earplugs helped. I’d stay there again.

Great location!

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. The location made it easy to take a water taxi straight from the airport, the neighborhood was quiet (aka not flooded with tourists) and had a number of restaurants and amenities in the area, including a Coop grocery store right around the corner. It is also located near two Vaporetto stops that made getting around easier. This unit is on the first floor, so there is one flight of stairs to the apartment. The unit itself had A/C, which was appreciated in an unusually warm and humid time in Venice. We also appreciated the washing machine and the kids loved the games on the bookshelves. The host was nice, they live in the building but we never had a reason to bother them. The kitchen was well appointed, even included a dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and towels appeared new. Overall a great spot!

Beautiful location and feels you are in Venice

Thank you. Location is beautiful and waking up seeing canals is amazing. I hope to be back and stay again. Its easy to get to from train station and vaporetta is nearby. We had everything we need for cooking and staying. Host helper was quick and responsive. Make sure you can call or have internet in case of questions on arrival. Its a physical key. Cons: Dishwasher was out of order. Read the directions beforehand. Google maps may be off. Small note about the description,- read full policy for the apartment stay as it was not translated to english. You do need to pay extra in cash for cleaning. Its not included in price.

Shot Venice Holiday

The apartment was spacious, nicely appointed and very convenient to the Ca D'Oro vaporetto stop, shops in the area and restaurants on the avenue near the vaporetto stop. The apartment could have used a bit more tlc by the cleaning crew especially in the bathroom.Coffee was supplied as well as sugar. However there were no paper towels or napkins in the kitchen. The one negative was the restaurant supply operation on the ground floor under the apartment that received shipments from barges and then sent materials off by boat. This activity started each day @7 am and continued all day until about 4 PM. For early risers this is not an issue. For people on vacation that wanted to sleep until 8-9 and then have coffee on the terrace it was a distraction.

A Slice of Venice Life

We chose this apartment because other reviewers said there was a lot of boat action on the canal in the mornings, and we loved it. Venice is unique because of its canals and boats and we wanted to see that part of Venice life. We were fascinated by the boat delivery system, boat trash pickup, gondolas passing by, and neighbors parking their boats on the canal and then stepping directly into their houses through a door on the waterline. We hung our laundry out over the canal and exchanged smiles and waves with a neighbor doing the same. Every room has huge windows and there is more than one balcony, which is great! This is a great location very close to both the Fte Nove and C’ D’Oro vaporetto stops, easy to explore Venice or the outer islands. There’s a grocery around the corner, great to bring food home to cook in the apartment. We felt cozy and happy here. All the daytime activity dies down and it is super quiet at night, perfect for sleep and recharge. Attilia, the host, lives in the building and is very kind and helpful. Even when we accidentally broke the apartment key off in the lock, he was super patient and kind about it, and we really appreciated that.

We stayed 3 nights in this apartment and enjoyed our time here. It’s conveniently located, walkable to everywhere and in a friendly area. The man who met us was courteous and greeted us where the water taxi dropped us off. He explained the layout of the apartment and gave us some recommendations for food etc. it made getting from the airport to the apartment very easy. That said, whilst the apartment is spacious, it is located above a catering company which loads boats with goods every morning (that we were there). Coupled with the rubbish collection boats that docked underneath our balcony, it made for a very early rise every morning (6:30am and it was loud). The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom recently renovated (bring your own soap/shampoo etc). I would suggest that the towels need replacing. They were quite old, thin and greyish. The kitchen had everything we needed and a supermarket is just round the corner to stock up on food etc. I would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay should you be travelling with family or for more than just a few nights. We had a lovely time in Venice and a lovely stay.
