We just needed a place with beds and a shower, but this was much more with generously sized rooms, a nice lounge area just outside our suites, and a breakfast room with coffee and pre-packaged breakfast pastries. Open the fridge and apples, bananas and even lactose-free milk was available. Location was just 4 blocks uphill from the ferry port and train station, and we found a pleasant restaurants just to the north a block or two. Folks with limited mobility have to climb a few stairs to enter. "

"Without question the best resort spa in Villa San Giovanni . This is where my dad is from ,so I’ve come to Villa quite a bit . My favorite ! Great live music and Dj by the pool , amazing views of Sicily across the sea . Restaurant rivals any Michelin restaurant that I’ve been to . "

"We had only one night to stay in this hotel that seemed to be a five star in old days on our way back to Rome. Our room was very clean and spacious with a very nice view of the sea. I also enjoyed using the indoor swimming pool. The staff were also very nice and helpful. the breakfast was very limited and I think it was because not many people were staying at our time. By the way there was a pizzeria restaurant close by called Bambu. Their food was excellent "
