Very nice hotel within 5 minutes walking to the old town. Staff was great and the room was clean and modern. Their parking lot was full but there was parking literally across the street so it worked out well.

Ideally located central hotel
Lovely hotel. Very clean and tidy. Cute little balcony and ideally located to stroll into the main centre. We managed to find a free parking spot right outside the hotel too. Good reception staff who spoke English. Would definitely recommend. No complaints at all.

Disappointing
An overall disappointing stay. We were told on arrival that there was no space left for our car in the hotel car park. Then when we entered the bedroom, the aircon wasn't working, and all the air grids were very dusty. As well as the lamps in the room. We has to ask the hotel to clean the room again. And finally, we paid for everything on the night in order to do a quick check-out in the morning, and the lady still made us wait.

The Hotel was clean and modern. Unfortunately the covid situation made the Breakfast hit and miss, and not worth the money. Well situated for the city centre.

Accommodating staff, parking in garage under hotel easy to access, elevator, air conditioning. Wi-Fi was spotty at times. Hotel is a 15–20 minute walk from the old town of Vannes. Choice of Express or full breakfast with a surcharge.

Quiet stay
Good position for a walk in to town, very clean and smart with good secure underground parking under the hotel with big spaces, tight entrance but plenty of room inside. (9.5€ per night) Beds are very comfortable. on the whole very good. Very Quiet

Great hotel in a convenient location.
Very helpful pleasant and welcoming staf. Room was very good indeed ,spacious enough for a couple and medium to Largs sized dog. Bed exceedingly comfortable. Towelling robes and slippers included in the very reasonable price. Also glasses provided ,not plastic beakers. Conveniently situated for exploring the city although quite noisy due to close proximity to traffic. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. We did not partake of the restaurant food so cannot comment on quality or delivery .

Not a great visit.
Upon arrival I waited at the check in desk for nearly 10 minutes at approximately 18:30. Not a member of staff in sight. When the receptionist arrived she threw her pack of cigarettes on the desk and took me through the check in process. I have never encountered such a rude hotel member of staff in all my years of travelling. Issues at check in….. Extremely rude receptionist. I had read that the Best Western Plus Centre-Ville had parking facilities for which I was happy to pay for. I was told these weren’t available and that I had to park across the road in a public car park meaning every morning I had to go straight to the car, pay for a parking ticket and display this on the dashboard. Had I known the car had to be parked in a public car park I would’ve booked a different hotel. Why weren’t we told about this and given the option of booking elsewhere? Upon our arrival we were hoping to eat dinner in the hotel. I was told that the restaurant was fully booked. Due to us having a 18 month old child with us, I asked if it would be possible if we could pay for a bowl of pasta for the baby and take it to our room. I was told the kitchen were fully booked. All I wanted was a bowl of pasta for the baby, my wife and I were prepared to fore go dinner and were just seeking some food for our baby. I was told this was not possible and was handed a map of Vannes in order for us to find a restaurant. During the whole of that evening the restaurant never got anywhere near 50% capacity

Family + Dog Friendly Hotel with Fab Duplex Rooms!
We are a family of two adults, two teenagers and a small dog. We stayed in a duplex room and were very impressed. As you enter the room there is a separate wc, staircase and twin room with a high up large velux window (so any children in this room couldn’t fall out). There was an electric shutter for this window. Then up the full size staircase to the spacious double room (huge bed) and a lovely family bathroom. Bath with shower over, another toilet and sink. A big window gives a great view over the city. Finally to top it off, French doors lead out onto your own terrace with table and chairs! The hotel was redecorated this year. The theme is tropical and contemporary, with palm frond wallpaper, teal or grey walls and vibrant accents like lime or parrot wallpaper. I loved it. The beds were comfy, the fitted furniture and sanitaryware was modern and nice quality. The hotel has some underground parking (best to reserve) with a direct lift to the rooms. Breakfast was buffet style and had a great selection. You can eat indoors or in the garden area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Our dog could also come with us to breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant or about 5 mins walk away there are several restaurants to choose from (we enjoyed a nearby Mexican restaurant). All in all a really great stay. I didn’t expect the room to be so attractive, spacious and light, while the terrace was a delight. We would definitely recommend.

Great hotel for families
Decided to use this hotel as a stop off on way to Les Mathes. Staff were all so very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were large (duplex family room) on two levels with kids room downstairs. Balcony was nice but not the best view. As we were tired from travel we ate the hotel and the food was very good (although limited menu). Location of this hotel is excellent and a few minutes walk to all the old town and shops. Would highly recommend!

Location good - only a 10 min walk or so from the harbour and cafes etc. Thats good because it makes it easy to get to and having the hotel parking was great. Service at hotel was very polite and friendly. Room is general was good - very comfortable kingsize bed and plenty of space. Only strange thing was that - despite the hotel not being very busy, we were allocated a disabled room on the ground floor. Nothing at all wrong with that in theory of course, but our window was at pavement level by the road, and the bathroom was big but very tired - with a poor shower that meant the floor was always soaked and bizarrely no towel rails etc, so we had to put wet towels on the disabled toilet support. We were only there for two nights and out nearly all the time so it didn't really matter - it just seemed an odd room allocation. We did use hotels.com vouchers for the booking which they gave us as a result of a previous complaint. I'd recommend going out for breakfast - its very expensive at the hotel and quite basic. All in all - good service and good location - hotel room and amenities just ok - but perfectly good for a night or two.

We stayed four nights at this hotel The reception staff were extremely help full. .our first evening we had meal in the restaurant , the service was very good and the food excellent. We then booked a table for our last evening ,which was our 54 wedding anniversary on the said evening there were only four other people in the restaurant,,our starter arrived and wasexcellent then it all went down hill. We had to wait a full 40 mins for our main course which turned up cold and serverly under cooked I sent my meal back only to have it return having been warmed up in a Micowave. We had ordered drinks. for which we are still waiting. A complete shambles which completely ruined our anniversary.. Their only content was we will remove a price of a drink from your bill, we are still awaiting the ( drink ). The car parking charges for this hotel are much to high 10 Euro,s per day.

The Best Western, Vannes, is a very smart, stylish, modern little hotel (48 rooms). The actual hotel building looks is a bit dated from the outside but is much nicer inside. We had a family duplex room (2 adults, 2 children). The children had a modern twin bed room downstairs with toilet and upstairs was a large, modern, stylish, spacious double bedroom with balcony, tea/coffee, fridge and shower/with bath room. The hotel is 5 mins walk away from the centre of the historic town. There is no parking in the historic centre, so the location is ideal if you have a car. The hotel offers basement parking for 9 euros per night but there is a free car park within 100m of the hotel, so parking is easy. If you are looking for a charming, boutique hotel in the historic core of the town then this hotel is not for you. But if you want a modern, clean, stylish little hotel with easy parking as close to the town centre as it is possible to be with a car, then this is for you. The hotel has a small restaurant and bar. The staff had excellent English and were very friendly and helpful

Pleasant stay in Vannes
Hotel rooms were a little small but just about suited our stay of 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful all speaking better English than our French. Parking on site is a bonus. This is my 3rd visit to this hotel and would stay again if our annual golf trip visits Vannes again in the future.
