The hotel represents value consistent with its price point. It is old and it is worn and the sheets and towels were clean. The room is as clean as its not renovated state would suggest. If what you desire is a cheap room it represents commensurate value. Would not stay again as my taste is for newer rooms.

Nice balcony view of the bay. Quiet at night. Lots of food choices within blocks. Comfortable bed and many tv channels for your downtime. Negative is dirty carpets so bring slippers. Super slow elevator but is what it is. Pricey BUT it is Vancouver, a pricey city.

Excellent location, parking very good on site always had spot. This is an outdated hotel which shows with decor. We would stay again as the purpose of our holiday is not to stay at the hotel and use any amenities. If this was kept upto date and refresher would be an easy 5 star but I suspect this maybe in the future replaced based on the amount of new buildings being completed in the area as it is a very vibrant area. So to be clear I had no complaints , amenities are basic and dated so mentioned on other reviews.

Good location and cheaper for the area. Felt safe, except balcony is very unsafe. There’s no screen on balcony door and it needed to be open since there’s no air conditioning. Needs a lot of updating. Second place to sleep is a pull out couch that is very old.

One of the most affordable options in West Van, close to everything we needed by foot. Free parking (not underground FYI). Obviously the property is old and the interior is dated, but it’s clean and suitable for a night or two. If the mattresses could be updated it would elevate the whole experience and the decor would become humble and retro, almost endearing. Instead it just feels like zero upgrades have been made since the late 1950’s, including the mattresses lol It met our needs! The staff were great!

The room was clean and quiet. It was really spacious with a bedroom, living room, and kitchenette. Very outdated decor and the wallpaper and paint were peeling in some areas. The hotel was in a safe neighborhood with restaurants nearby.
