A marching band played below and continued at a nearby square. "I had to chase for the entry codes to the property, literally an hour before arrival at the place. Possibly because I booked through Expedia, but that shouldn't be my problem, and it really annoyed me. Not a word of apology from the host, again, might be language barrier, but does not show them in the best light. Room itself is absolutely fine, and quite pleasant although would do with a spoon and a proper cup or two..."

Owner was unable to meet me when I arrived despite me arriving within stated hours of availability, leading to some confusion about how to access the room. Not fun after 24 hours of travel. Main problem was that accommodation was booked for a work trip and the owner was unable to provide a receipt so that I could be reimbursed by my workplace. Owner said they’d provide a receipt and then ghosted after several requests. Not recommended for those...

"We had a great time staying at this place for more than two weeks, which was made possible by an affordable price. Charming room in a 200 years old building in the center of Iglesias. Lots of history around. Excellent city vibe. Great dining options. 15 min from the closest beach. Very convenient if you are looking for a place to sleep and explore the island during the day.
