Your Oasis in La Gomera The house is situated in the hamlet of Tazo, in the municipality of Vallehermoso, where you will find the largest palm grove on La Gomera with more than 12,000 specimens and where the best palm honey on the island is produced, which you can buy from local producers. Temperatures range from 18 to 37 C (70F-90F), all year round.

From our terrace you can enjoy dreamlike sunsets. The house has one floor, which is accessed by a wide staircase from the car park. The house has a traditional Gomeran layout where all the rooms converge under an outdoor porch, the rooms are connected from the courtyard of the house, this makes the connection with nature and the landscape that surrounds us are always present. The master bedroom with wooden ceiling has a double bed (150x200) with viscoelastic mattress. Wardrobe with hangers and mirror. In the living-dining room there are two sofa beds (one 90 cm wide and the other 1.40 cm wide). Smart TV with Netflix and free internet, island guides and trail books, board games for adults and children, wardrobe and dining table with four chairs and candles to set the mood. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, ceramic and induction hob, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, kettle, Italian and filter coffee machine, toaster, mixer, milk frother, wine glasses, cleaning products, hoover, etc. Large bathroom with shower, hairdryer and hair dryer, shampoo, body gel, first aid kit, hygiene products for women, etc. 100 litre electric boiler. In the accommodation there is a travel bed for small children. Laundry room with washing machine, drying rack.
In the porch we have an extendable table of glass and aluminium with 4 chairs, ideal to enjoy lunches and dinners outside, we also have a comfortable sofa-bin and auxiliary table, ideal to rest, read, contemplate the landscape with its mountains and palm grove. Garden with fruit trees and ornamental plants. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture. The plot is fenced so it is also perfect for children.
* Access to the house is via a traditional pedestrian path from the car park, (about 10 m). * We advise you to hire a high vehicle for rainy periods. * The road to the house is unpaved (dirt). * There is no public transport in the area.
ACCESS TO THE HOUSE: independently, we will send the arrival instructions to the client along with the link to google Maps, videos of how to get there and the key to get the keys that are in the key box.
The beach is 6 kilometres away by dirt road. The centre of the village of Alojera, where there is a fresh fish restaurant and supermarket, is 6 kilometres away, if you want more choice you will have to go to the nearest villages such as Vallehermoso or Valle Gran Rey. There are short walks to take from the house and day trips to different areas of the island. You can enjoy the black sand beach of Alojera 30 minutes drive from the house on a dirt track where you will enjoy a unique landscape that will not leave you indifferent. There is a restaurant and 1 shop near the local school.
