comfort in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay, we found the place very spacious and comfortable. The property is in a very nice area, but still close enough to all ammenties. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Fantastic location for MTB fun

As a group of weekend warrior mountain bikers, this accommodation is perfect. Handily located and super roomy with the cherry on the top being the relaxing spa to ease away the aches of a tough days riding.

We recently stayed here with family from overseas. Everyone was very impressed with the house. Modern, warm, clean, great kitchen and plenty of space for everyone. The spa was an added bonus too.

Great place to have a family get-together

Really enjoyed ourselves staying here - house is absolutely perfect for a large group - the children (all cousins) all slept in the bunk room and had an exciting time with each other. Plenty of fire wood, kitchen has everything you need. Good communication with owners. Spa pool was great. A fun time had by all.

Perfect for mtb weekend

We loved this place for many reasons. Was spotlessly clean, great location and quiet, comfy beds and plenty of them, really well equipped kitchen - we cooked both nights, easy and great communication.... Really everything we wanted and more - like the bike racks in the immaculate garage. we'll be back!

Spacious, relaxing and well-equipped

We stayed over Christmas with 4 children under 10 and 7 adults. Great place with lots of space and the two living areas made it easy for kids and adults to enjoy (and the bunk room was a big hit with the kids!). Very well-equipped, quiet neighbourhood, and the spa was great! Owners also arranged an Xmas tree. Had a wonderful time.

Wonderfully roomy & very warm & cozy. Plenty of kitchen equipment & lovely bedding and towels. Indoor spa was divine for our winter stay. Think the cleaning team forgot to leave milk/tea/coffee/rubbish bags/matches/dish cloths & washing powder etc.. perhaps something that needs to be followed up.

Excellent deluxe retreat.

We stayed in Rotorua for a 3 day family celebration for 3 big birthdays in the year. We chose this property so we could all,, 11 of us ages from 6 to 86, get to know each other but not be tripping over ourselves. The attention to detail was amazing. Perfect layout, roomy, excellent facilities. Excellent to have a fully functioning kitchen with dishes and all. My husband said the accommodation was excellent he has never used that word before about anything!. We had an excellent memorable family celebratory weekend away and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The house made a huge difference. We had takeaways, played board games for hours, night luging, escape room and motion entertainment, beautiful lunch at the Aorangi Peak Restaurant. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect accommodation. A big part of our perfect weekend. Very blessed.

Cosy and warm at Deluxe Redwoods

We loved our time here ( even as it rained heavily all the time we stayed) with a warm toasty fireplace, comfortable beds, great showers and a well equipped kitchen. We had a puncture to fix and neighbors came from all sides to offer assistance. It was much appreciated.

Meh

The main floor was decent with updated bathrooms and kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Making sense of the switches to torn things on and off were not intuitive and made no sense. The worst was the basement with a moldy bathroom ceiling and clearly mostly smell throughout the basement.it became difficult for me to breath. A dehumidifier or an air conditioner would have helped with this. Not to mention the separate hai cold faucets in the basement bathroom. We didn’t use the hot tub so I have no comment on that. I wouldn’t recommend this as high on my list.

Gorgeous neighborhood - beautiful view.

The house is huge. Great parking. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook or entertain. The house is worn and needs some TLC. Very musty from having the hot tub in the bottom level. We appreciated the great reception and communication from the owners.

A Family Reunion

This house was very suitable for our large family gathering with 3 generations. The spa pool was well used and on one morning we lit the fire which created a very cosy atmosphere.
