"An early weekday getaway was a great way to start our week! Comfy indoor and outdoor living/relaxing areas made the lake views extra special. The Host was quick to respond to any questions and made us feel ‘at home’ at the Barndo! Extra large trees on the property provide ample shade through the day when living lakeside. Sturdy dock and seating area (plus a swing) provide a special place to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon libation! Shopping and local dining are conveniently located nearby in the town of Norwood, NC."

"We spent a few days there from mid week to Saturday. The location was perfect for relaxing in the lake and swimming. You can walk into the shallow water at the edge of the yard which was great for us since my wife had a knee injury recently and can't navigate a ladder too well. We found the place to be neat and super cozy! We would definitely return!"
