Lake Front House with Dock, Kayaks, and Boat Slip

Open concept living with beautiful main channel views includes two (2) primary bedrooms on main level and three (3) additional bedrooms downstairs. Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar. There's plenty of dining space to accommodate your whole group. Large screened porch with outdoor living and dining options. Relax under the covered patio downstairs, life is on lake time. Downstairs space is also great for kids or the young at heart with shuffleboard, foosball table, and an area for games and crafts. Utility room includes washer, dryer and extra storage space.
Dock provides plenty of space for relaxing, swimming, boating (one boat slip available), fishing, kayaking, and enjoying everything the lake has to offer.
Gated community with playground, hiking trails, basketball and tennis courts.
Visit historic Albemarle or Mt Gilead with their restaurants or antique shops, just 10 minutes away. Or explore nearby hiking and mountain biking trails in Uwharrie National Forest and Mount Morrow State Park.

IMPORTANT: From Oct 23 to Nov 10 Lake Tillery will be down 6 to 8 feet below it's normal levels. Duke Energy controls this process and the duration of the drawdown and the time required to refill the lake will depend on weather conditions and river inflows.

End of summer trip

Wonderful home for our end of summer trip for our friends and family. Prefect home for ourdoor living and views are simply amazing! Just a little confusion on the "master bathroom" having a shared bath/shower with separate toilets but wasnt a huge deal.. wonderful home and will definitely be staying again.

Anniversary trip

Very nice!

The house was perfect for all my family and we loved sitting on the screened in porch looking at the water drinking our coffee.We were able to take our boat and enjoyed the ride to River Wild to eat.We enjoyed every minute.

Perfect home for a special day

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The VIEW IS AWESOME!! We were married June 3rd at Morrow Mountain and our family that helped with or were in the wedding stayed there. The house is very spacious and we are already talking about renting again in the fall with 3 other couples!! Honestly, I could live there in a skinny minute!! Joel and Jenn were great hosts and very responsive!!

Christmas Vacation with the Family

Our family is larger than our home. To allow all the children and grandchildren time to be together, we decided to choose this home as an option. Not more than an hour from our homes, space, amenities, made this trip a wonderful success. Unfortunately it rained each day so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors but the house was well stocked with everything for many different ages to stay active and entertained during our stay. House was very clean and easy access to the owner, but wasn't needed. The house even had a Christmas tree up for the children to enjoy. Great stacation for us!!

Absolutely amazing

We’ve done a lot of VRBO’s but this one moved to the top of our list. Hosts were extremely accommodating, home was immaculate, and everything was as described. Right on the water, we thoroughly enjoyed the swings at the dock and the screened in porch upstairs. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need (but just in case there isn’t, the dollar general was right down the road). Check in and out process was super easy and communication with hosts was even easier. Came up for a funeral but felt like we were on vacation. Can’t wait to book this property again!

Mini vacation for four generations.

A lovely place with a nice view of the water. We all enjoyed the weekend. The great grandsons [15, 20] spent many, many hours fishing from the dock and caught many pieces of wood. The only disappointment was the shoreline; many logs as well as pieces of wood of all sizes were floating in it. It didn't seem safe to launch the kyacks and the water was too murky in any case.

Perfect lake house!

This property was the perfect setting for our multi-generational 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The house is very attractively furnished with a wonderful open kitchen, dining, living area and screened porch area to enjoy eating and spending time together. The hosts have provided every amenity imaginable. There are lots of games for all ages to enjoy and we had no problem filling one rainy day of our weekend with activities. The house has easy access to the beautiful dock and great lake location. Comfortable dock seating provided the perfect viewing place for a magnificent sunset followed by s’mores over the firepit. We really hope our family of 11 can gather there again soon.

Another amazing stay at Lake Tillery

We stayed here this summer for a week and loved the place. It is convenient for our families who live around the state of NC. So, we booked it and went back as a family for Thanksgiving. The space works for our family. We love the open concept of the kitchen, dining area and family room with its views of the lake. The large dining room table is wonderful and easily sits our family of 12 (two in highchairs but when they graduate the table will still easily accommodate them.) The spiral staircase is steep and was our only concern after our summer stay but we brought a gate this visit and made it so the little ones couldn't go down. Weather turned quite chilly so we didn't spend much time outdoors but did enjoy the firepit one evening. We are already talking about planning a week at the lake this summer. Joel is quick to respond and easy to work with.

Perfect Getaway

Where to start with this amazing VRBO.... We choose this VRBO for a gathering of family across a wide range of ages. The home exceeded our expectations and was honestly the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. The hosts were super fast in their responses from the moment we first inquired and were very kind and helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware as well as anything we could have forgotten. The rest of the home was fully stocked as well with comfort's of home, the beds were very comfortable and each room offered a restful experience. There were many stores / restaurants close by. The environment was perfect for spending quality intentional time with family. Our kids were never at a loss for something to do and our elderly family members enjoyed sitting outside relaxing. Accessibility for older family members was easy with just a few steps to the main floor with everything they needed. Joel and Jenn literally thought of everything and we are already discussing our next stay.
