The room was tiny! the size of inside cabin on a cruise ship. The safe is inside a night stand. The luggage on the shelf wouldn't let the bathroom door open. Other than that, the room is clean, beds comfy. Decent breakfast

Great place to stay! The staff was excellent and knowledgeable. We especially appreciated the great service of Pim and Shirley! The are both such fantastic people! Walking distance from Utrecht’s historic district.

The room is very small. It is more suitable for a short stay. If you stay longer, you may want to consider the fact that there is no closet or even a small fridge, and there is no coffee maker (these things are important for some people). There is a kettle and you can make tea or instant coffee..... The bathroom is nice and the location of the hotel is very convenient

I dont really want to review, just star mark. I dislike leaving negative comments, as I have discussed the issues we encountered with the staff, from check in to check out. Nothing more can be done but give an opportunity for improvement and their interest. Neither occurred in our particular experience!! The Hotel is in a very convenient and central location.

Hotel very close to Utrecht Station and only about 10 minutes walk to the old city. Hotel is in the middle of shopping mall, which felt a bit weird - but made it easy to access in case of rain. Had to take a hotel to lobby. Rooms decent size for Europe and good sized bathroom. Small work table sufficient for laptop. Buffet breakfast felt more British than Dutch, but worked and was filling.

The hotel is located right across from the train station. The staff were very accommodating - even finding us a dentist when we needed one for an emergency. The included breakfast was good. And it's located inside the very large shopping mall. The only flaw is that the room is very small. And no privacy for the shelves to store clothes or whatever. It was even smaller than an IBIS if you know what that means.

Bed Bugs during my stay
My stay at this hotel, chosen for its ideal location, took an unexpected turn. I've been a regular guest here, and previous visits had been uneventful. However, this time was a nightmare. During my stay, I discovered my bed was infested with bed bugs, and the repercussions were very bad. I quickly identified to reception the issue and requested a room change. I was met with skepticism, leaving me feeling the need to prove the existence. The hotel was fully booked, complicating my situation. I left for work, hoping my belongings would be relocated quickly. Upon returning, I found myself in a different room on another floor, but my luggage was not in the new room. A phone call later, it was recovered (fingers crossed it wasn't left in the infested room). My experience was worse after my departure day when I realized I'd suffered an allergic reaction to the bed bug bites, everywhere on my body, including my face. Even after changing rooms, sleep was difficult due to doubts about bed cleanliness and the fear of unintentionally transporting these pests home. In summary, my stay was stressful, and I cannot imagine returning. While I appreciate their effort to relocate me, it felt more like a legal obligation than genuine concern. The manager's gesture of a stroopwafel and a note was appreciated, but did little to redeem the situation of encountering bed bugs and the initial skepticism at reception. I cannot recommend this hotel to others and my colleagues

It was a small long thin room with the tv 10’ from the bed No towel rail, loo roll holder or shelf in the bathroom I was given a disabled room so unsure if lack of those things is normal Was nightmare to find so directions need to be given Out of the station Across to the mall Left path at mall and when you get to the escalators by the Ecco store turn right and the hotel is there It was very quiet and breakfast was ok Staff lovely and the cleanest hotel I have stayed in Pillows were amazing and the linen and towels smelled fresh I would have liked a view Quick check in and out

We were so glad to have chosen to stay here rather than at any of the other options nearby. My wife needed a walking stick due to a recent injury so the proximity to the train station, shops, and restaurants was an added bonus. The location inside the shopping mall gives a sense of safety, quietness, and cleanliness you won't get with a hotel with a street-front entrance. The building itself can be described as a work of art. It feels new and modern and the layout of the rooms meant we had spectacular views of the day and night activities in the city centre below. Location is everything! On top of that the staff were very professional from check in to check out. One morning a staff member knocked on our door to ensure that our room had been cleaned :-). Breakfast every morning was sumptuous with a choice ranging from pastries to bread to eggs. All of it was extremely filling and tasty. The only drawback from our stay was that one of the two lifts was out of order and the working one seemed to 'reset' and forget where it was going from time to time. Hopefully, that can be sorted out before long. All in all this hotel was instrumental in making my 3-night stay in Utrecht a pleasure and I highly recommend it.
