"Lovely room we checked in early with upgrade to higher floor which was nice a/c a little noisy nice breakfast but bacon bit dried up. Hotel very close to train station which was handy to leave luggage and spend time in the city would stay again "

"When we arrived check in wasn’t so smooth. We got to our room. A suite, and the bed for our children hadn’t been set up. So we had to go down and ask for this to be done. The staff in the pool area were rude and told us that we only had 30 mins to swim due to the pool closing for kids at 8pm. Which wasn’t communicated with us. On our check out day, we were showing getting ready to leave and the staff hadn’t told us they were having the windows cleaned. So we had a window cleaner on a harness outside out windows. Which really wasn’t great considering we hadn’t been pre warned! Not great planning from the hotel and had we not have noticed before our children got out the bath then it could have been embarrassing. Breakfast was nice. The meals in the restaurant at night were average. For such a nice hotel I did expect a bit more from the menu. There was a lady who worked in the restaurant in the evenings who was nice and very helpful. But she was the only helpful member of staff which again is a shame. Style but no substance is how I would describe it "

"Hotel wasnt too bad. Good location. Bar area is pleasnt. Checking in was slow and long winded needed id and had to fill in details online again dispite filling details to book online intially. Had alot easier and smoother checks in at better hotels Bathroom smelt of bad drains when you run water. Going into the bathroom was like entering a toilet cubicle on a train Bed was not the best pillows were terrible. Had a uncomfortable sleep ended up leaving in the early hours to go home as we couldnt sleep and our neck was killing . Even with an extra pillow. Wouldnt return. "
