"My son and I went to the UP for 3 nights. We were extremely pleased right from the beginning. The Gentleman that checked us in was great. He was friendly AND interested in what we were thinking about doing in our trip to the area. The Ladies at the counter when we checked out were just as friendly. The room was clean and just what we hoped for Most definitely will be staying here next year if possible. "

"The hotel is older, would like hard floors instead of carpet and updated windows. Didn’t like how dark our room was, kept the front curtains closed so people walking by in the hallway couldn’t see in our room. Definitely appreciated the mini refrigerator. They offer a breakfast but it’s pretty basic of toast, mini muffins, scrambled eggs, cereals, coffee and juice. This hotel is wonderful for the price you pay, it’s close to stores and a 6 min drive to Lake Superior."
