"What a beautiful place to stay! Everything went smoothly from contactless check-in to check-out. Everything was super clean and as pictured and described. We appreciate you allowing pets. I wish we had had more time to use more of the amenities. The lake area and sauna looked real nice. Communication with out host David was very prompt and he answered the questions we had. Bed was comfortable but a little hard for my preference. A nice memory foam pad would fix that. Better lighting over the bathroom sink and an outlet would be a nice thing to add for the future.We will definitely recommend Ruth Lake Resort to our friends and would stay here again when we are back in the UP."
"we stopped here on our way up from the lower peninsula to porcupine Mountain State Park. Nice little restful spot to chill out on the beach and enjoy the lake and sauna. We loved that there were paddle boards and kayaks available for us to use. Awesome sunset spot.A fire pit available, but we did not use it. but really not too loud or disturbing. Easy check-in. Easy check out. Had what we needed. The cabin that we chose was listed as two rooms with two beds, which technically is accurate, but be aware that one of the beds is located in the main living area with the couch, TV and kitchenette, while the other bed is located in an actual separate bedroom. it wasn’t a problem, just be aware. "
