The self check in process is so tedious - many of the questions could have been completed at booking time, not standing in an entrance lobby carrying bags eager to get to a room for a rest! Otherwise a very pleasant hotel offering good value.

Good Economy Stay
Easy to get to, location was a short walk from the train station (12 mins). Room was very clean, possibly newly remodeled or just well maintained. Area more industrial and more for a business person or someone just looking for an economy place to stay. Not a main tourist area. Service member I saw we nice and friendly.

I booked through Expedia and when i got to the hotel i was told they do not have my reservation and that the hotel is fully booked. I arrived after about 30 min of having booked and then waited in their lobby for another 30 min. The reception sent me to another hotel in the area where i had to PAY AGAIN. I expect full reimbursement from my billing at the Economy hotel.

Very good value
If you need to stopover for a night near Ulm, you're unlikely to find a better deal than this. Situated at the roadside in an out-of-town shopping centre, the hotel is nevertheless quiet, stylish, clean, efficiently run - and cheap.

Very nice clean new hotel. Reception desk open limited hours. We were able to do automated check-in, but had to wait for reception desk to re-open at 5 PM to get WiFi password. Hotel situated in commercial/industrial area. Not really able to walk to Ulm city center due distance and high traffic. Overall not bad for the price.

Econo-My Hotel is OK for the money
Getting the room you want is an iterative process; if lucky, they can accommodate. If the room had refrigerator I would grant higher marks. But, it has air conditioner (not needed in early October, but GOOD to know!) Maids did a good job. Neighborhood is great for fans of suburbia: Big Box retail, fast food, no character, but that makes for come convenient shopping. Free wifi is ok. For a nice walk, head out on foot to Wilhelmsburg: the surrounding area is nice forest/park.

Good value, clean hotel in red light district
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The desk is closed after 9pm, there is a check-in kiosk and a phone to call if you need help after-hours. The room was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay - cosy bedclothes, a small desk and chair, soap/shampoo/towel. There is a lounge area with vending machines that sell almost anything you need for your stay, and music piped throughout the common areas that make the place seem happening. I was staying for an event taking place nearby, so the location worked well for me, but it was a bit far from town. It is accessible by public transport, and is a 25-minute walk from the main station/town/sights (10-minute drive). It is quite close to the large shopping mall, in a sort of shopping area where there is a large home improvement store, a natural foods grocery store, and other large stores nearby (the type you are more likely to go to if you live in a place). Across the road and next door are casinos and table-dancing bars/strip clubs. I did not feel afraid walking around after dark, but others might find it uncomfortable to travel alone and stay here if you plan to walk back to the hotel at night.

Good budget yet comfortable place to stay
The brand new hotel is an excellent choice for a budget stay. I like the modern interior design of my room. The self check-in kiosk is really cool. The location is 20 minutes away from town centre, but the shops and main train station are still within a walkable distance.

Interestingly, we never met any of the staff. We checked in at 1630 and there was no one at the desk. We used our credit card to check in, pay for the room and receive our 2 room keys. We left for dinner with friends and returned at 2200. We had problems with my room key. There was no one at the desk. I called the hotel telephone number. The recording stated that someone would be at the desk the next morning. Fortunately, we were able to get into our room with our second key. Lesson: Always request 2 keys. When we departed the next morning at 0830, there was someone at the desk. We missed having someone at the desk more often. The hotel, although new and clean, is directly across the street from the Ulm Eros Center. This is not a family friendly section of Ulm.

The hotel is just what its name says, economy. It is clean and very modern, but the rooms are small and minimally furnished. The room had a good size safe. Close to shopping.

Avoid this hotel
Almost new hotel - TV didn't work in the room and the café/restaurant was not yet open. (When we complained about the TV, we were given another room, and this turned out to be the one for handicapped people.) The hotel is near several 'gentlemen's clubs' and, whilst there was no noise, it's not what you would wish to have nearby. There were no restaurants nearby. It is further from the city centre than we were led to believe - a car ride rather than a short walk. We registered our complaint with the reception, but they were not interested or helpful. In view of the price, this hotel is extremely bad value and I would like Hotels.com to take this review as a formal complaint.

Good New Hotel
Very good hotel for the price.Its only been open for three weeks so everythings like brand new,room was basic but very comfortable.A single room means just that a single bed no wider than you could get away with,carefull if you turn over in the night.Hotel is on edge of main town among a retail park area,so no proper resturants or bars only KFC,Burger King etc in easy walking distance.
