The property is fantastic, and I will stay here when I need to be in the area, but only if I am travelling alone. My partner found the bed to be too firm. (In fact, she said she would stay again but will bring her own mattress topper) every other aspect is perfect.

The room was small and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. Even for a long weekend the cost of the room was way too expensive and you had to pay extra for any housekeeping. It came across as here is your key, see you when you leave, This was the forth time we stayed there but will not be back

Great hotel in a great location.
Convenient location, just 5 minutes walk to the shops, harbour, cafes. Hotel is tidy with complete amenities, including gym and pool. The room is quiet and well maintained. Will recommend if you will travel in the area.

Dated rooms Overpriced - way overpriced I’m ok to pay Sydney prices but that requires Sydney standards and offering Def not more than a 3 star motel Hosts were pleasant but the facilities (bad carpet dampness and toiletries) awful No one likes feeling ripped off

Upon inspection of your room on departure it is evident that you have had an esky with ice which has leaked all the carpet near the bathroom (this explains the carpet dampness - something we are not responsible for). As for toiletries we are a little baffled, as we provided luxury Oasis Shampoo, Soap, Body Wash, Makeup wipes, Sanitary Bags ,Shower Cap, Spa Gel and 3 ply toilet paper.

The Oasis Inn proved to be a uniquely lucky and enjoyable find from a last-minute online search in an area we do not know at all well. From the moment we pulled up in their roomy, garden-set car park, the whole feeling of the property was inviting and welcoming, everywhere set witfh lush gardens of semi-tropical plants, flowers and trees. Similarly, the staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming; the room was ideally laid out with all emenities, and perfectly situated in a private garden-set courtyard, with a beautifully constructed"jungle-inset" pool" a few steps away under the trees; plus engaging "Rain-forest Walks" in the imaginatively[designed and superbly maintained gardens all round. And all of this, just short walks from the picturesque Boat Harbour and its fishing fleet, to a variety of local restaurants and shops, and short drives to absolutely superb beaches.... This was a great expirience; hope to revisit some day, and meanwhile strongly recommend to our other family members.

Expedia doesn't mention anything about an extra $200 refundable deposit after paying $260 for the room... So the guest house was a good place to stay but Expedia well won't be using it again

Thank you Scott for leaving a review, it is disappointing when guests do not read the terms and conditions before agreeing to them and then proceed to book then go on to leave and leave a poor review score - so we are the victim.We offered you a full refund when you became aggravated by having to pay this bond, as you advised us you did not have the funds, you declined the refund and advised us that you would arrange to get some cash for the bond, which you did and was returned to you on departure.

Our hosts Stephen and Maree were awesome sharing their local knowledge of places to visit and dine, very friendly and helpful. Property was in excellent condition and original artworks hanging in corridors and rooms were a very nice touch

Booked room in the afternoon to stay for same night - called literally 5 min later to extend to two nights when got told off that children couldn’t stay- I have a quiet 7 year old daughter and was advised that they will NOT take children - they would not help me and NOT refund even though I clearly made a mistake and everyone knew straight after paying through wotif.com I got told with attitude that it is non refundable and that I INCONVENIENCED their property and pretty much they can’t do anything . Upon approaching customer service at wotif I was told the manager who I spoke to could authorise a refund - but they refused - after being chatting to Wotif for 1.5hrs whilst trying to find another accommodation they finally agreed to refund 215 out of 515 dollars - which I believe is the wotif fee that the customer service rep arranged for me …. Defenitely would not recommend the stay particularly how I was spoken too when I was confused about not being able to bring my daughter and at all times condenscending- believe me I apologised for making a mistake but that got the manager eleven more hyped up to talk rudely to me ! No empathy at all, no concerns about anyone but their money !!! Disgusting to charge 515 and then renting out rooms to someone else !! I would not book there … you probably have to pay more to leave there because they make up you took or broke something !

Humous account of the events that unfolded, clearly you did not read the conditions of stay, you booked a room for two adults and called to request extra nights, that is when you let it slip that you had a child!!! The rooms clearly advised maximum number of occupants two (2). It is obvious your rant is because of your inability to read before you click to agreeing to the booking conditions and just though you could sneak a child into a property where all guests must be over the age of 18 years, the room remained empty for that evening.

I was very disappointed with the property and my stay overall. Firstly I had to wait in reception for about 3 minutes before someone came to check me in. That was a bad sign. There was no contact less check-in offered. They advertise a jacuzzi and sauna but both were not available due to covid. It's been a year now, you should stop advertising them. We asked for a late checkout but was denied because "the room is booked for that day" even though they advertise that rooms are left vacant for 24hrs between stays. Pool was dirty with leaves, and not heated. The tiny ice cube tray was empty so we filled it only to find it had not frozen many hours later because the fridge was set to half power. The radio/stereo is absolutely filthy and the radio does not work. All this and they are charging a premium price. I have stayed in much better for much less. To top it off they put 2 bottles of water in the room for $2 each. Who's brilliant idea was that to make an extra 50 cents? Overall very disappointed

Dear Mr & Mrs Anonymous - Blanch Firstly on your arrival I was attending to a previous guest that checked in. A contactless checkin form was emailed to you prior to arrival, you did not return this. We clearly have advertised that that Jacuzzi and sauna are closed. We do not advertise that rooms are left for 24 hours!!!!!! There was leaves in the pool due to strong winds during your stay and a lovely big gum trees that just happens to shed some leaves and bark in the wind. We offer ice from the bar free of charge you only had to ask staff. Perhaps the bad windy wet weather is reflective of your review and failure to read fine print etc when making a booking. You failed to mention the efforts we went to to book your wife in for a massage or the complimentary glass of bubbles you both happily consumed.

We enjoyed our stay at the guest house. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with great service that you hope you’ll get from a boutique accommodation offering outside the city. The room was extremely clean, neat and tidy and very spacious. The pool was a welcome addition in the heat. I couldn’t fault the comfort and service.

The owner was very welcoming on arrival, told us about the town and gave us complimentary wine. The guest house has a real unique feel to it, artwork of all styles line the walls inside and the outdoor areas have a jungle retreat vibe. All round good experience, would stay again if in the area.

The staff here are lovely and caring. We happened to stay here when the bush fires were bad around Ulladulla and the owners looked after us very well. Even without electricity Marie still cooked breakfast for everyone in a dark kitchen when most people would have closed. We are definitely coming back once the bush fires are over.

Five stars?!! You must be kidding.
First, the obvious: this is at the very best, a 3-star hotel. Old, tired, with decor and furniture from when Australia was still a colony. Hosts are nice, but their knowledge of the hotel business is closer to Motel 6 than Ritz-Carlton. My (upgraded) room was small. The pool, loaded in a nice setting, was dirty and I was not able to use it. Breakfast is a joke. Price was outrageous for what this hotel is: I could easily pay half price for a nicer motel nearby. The positive: location, setting, TV size, jacuzzi. The negative: everything else.

Bathroom and bed was the best in a long time. We rent pretty regularly and found the bathroom very useable and spacious. Bed was great. Firm and clean Tv was useless. Mostly no signal 😩😩room was very musty and dusty. Didn’t help my sinus . Needs a really good clean. Pretty pricey $700 for 2 nights . Owner wasn’t the most talkative we’ve met 😂😂🙏🙏

Great return to one of our favorites on the coast
Excellent hosts Its our second visit , after our first visit I wrote such a good review that it was difficult to book for a while. This visit: Excellent hosts, Great breakfast well worth the price, very comfortable rooms including the bed. Loved the pool and gardens. Make sure that you just sit in the gardens as the sun goes down and enjoy the bird life. This place is a little bit special. Enjoy Pete & Claire from Canberra PS after this post its going to get difficult to book again. Just being honest

What a gem! Gracious hosts, delectable and imaginative meals, wonderfully comfy room, and a swimming pool/ jacuzzi with a surprisingly tropical ambience. Our bathroom was modern and well supplied. Pool gowns and towels provided. The coffee and tea making facilities included bickies. After our delicious mezze dinner (Patos style) and a leisurely sojourn in the inviting lounge area, we were pleasantly surprised to find a glass of port in our room. 10+ overall for this guest house.

Great Place to Stay
Great little place to stay, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had been re-done. The room itself could do with a make over but was clean and tidy. The owners delivered 2 glasses of port every night on the house which was a nice touch. The restaurant food is very nice. Tapas style dishes which we liked due to the variety. Price of food and drinks was very reasonable. Would stay there again without any hesitation. Close to all facilities and the beach.
