"All of the staff was excellent and the food and drinks at the restaurant were soooo soooo good. No a/c but that's not uncommon at many European hotels. They were very generous with towels, etc. and, again, the staff was great. "

But, they are undergoing refurbishment to all the sea view rooms, it didn't really detract from our stay though. The hotel does look dated and tatty from the outside but once inside it's very nice. Good friendly attentive staff. Would imagine that when it's refurb is finished it'll be a jewel along the seafront in Dun Laoghaire. "
