The rooms were great. Bathroom and shower are top notch. We loved the unique 'feel' as it was not a typical hotel look. Breakfast was very good and again, not the typical offering --> they were aiming higher and nailed it. When we are back in Dublin we'll be staying at the Leinster again

Have stayed a few times and have enjoyed the hotel…the people are normally great. On this law occasion the team seemed a little distracted. We checked in late and the room we received was possibly the smallest we have ever stayed in. Wells-enough appointed, spotless…but tiny. Had we been staying more than one brief night it wouldn’t have been close to acceptable.

This hotel was a perfect location, walking distance to all of the restaurants and downtown area of Dublin. The room was so vintage, I loved the vintage phone. The toilet was interesting, being a bidet. It did make a lot of noise, but it was interesting to have. The only downside to this hotel that I could think of was a very odd fishy smell when using the shower in the morning. I’m unsure if it was coming from the water or the drains itself, but that definitely needs to be looked at.

We LOVED The Leinster Hotel!!!!! A truly wonderful, elegant, gorgeous experience!! After a stressful arrival, the staff (Anise) was so kind and welcoming, easing my tension with compassion and laughter. Throughout our stay, the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was exquisite! So many amenities - never seen in a hotel room before! An umbrella, robes, a drawer full of candy, another drawer full of water bottles, soft drinks and liquors, another drawer with specialized containers of extras, including one specifically meant for pleasure for couples! The bathroom was beautiful, with a bidet and a toilet seat that rose and lowered automatically! We had wonderful breakfasts upstairs in the gorgeous rooftop restaurant!! The Leinster is a standout hotel - definitely our favorite from a three week trip to three countries! Highly recommend!!!!

Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our trip to Scotland and Ireland. From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay felt exceptional. Our room was beautiful and wonderfully appointed, and the daily breakfasts were absolutely delicious — the perfect way to begin each day. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of the team we encountered went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. Our first — and favourite — evening was spent at Collins, where Francesco made the experience especially memorable. The delicious fare, creative mocktails, and thoughtful recommendations were the perfect introduction to Dublin. We were particularly grateful for his wonderful advice on spending a day in Howth, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely return. Next time, we’ll be treating ourselves to one of your beautiful suites! Thank you for an unforgettable stay and for making our time in Dublin so special. We look forward to returning!

I planned a whole year to come to Dublin, and while doing my research, I came across ‘The Leinster’ on Expedia. I thought this would be an awesome place to spend a week and celebrate my birthday in this area. The staff was nice, and we also had dinner on the rooftop at ‘Jean George’. I don’t know if the menu changes throughout the season, but I had sea bass, and it was amazing. They also celebrated my birthday, which was sweet. The hotel is honestly the best and safest place if you want to travel around Dublin. You can take the Dublin Bus, and most likely you will be there in 15-20 minutes if you want to go shopping in Dames or wherever your heart desires, whether it’s sightseeing or if you are a foodie. Seriously, treat yourself! The only thing I regret is not buying a pair of earrings they had on display.

Room was well appointed but lacked space for clothes, suitcase etc. No space to hang clothes. It would have been difficult for two people to share space as it was awkward for one. I booked room for convenience to National Art Gallery and few restaurants I wanted to try; that goal was meet. Disappointed to find the hotel closed for two night for private events. As a single woman, safe spaces are a necessary and the hotel bar is always a refuge.

Lovely hotel The breakfast was fabulous with lovely views and the 2 girls serving our table were brilliant. Its about a 15 min walk to the city centre, probably a little quiet on the street at night for walking, but other than that we had a perfect stay.
