It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. The staff are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. "

"We unfortunately stayed for just one night on Thursday, 23 October 2025, on our way back to Joburg, but it was a truly perfect experience, just as we had hoped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is beautiful, safe, and enveloped by a lovely forest. "There was a bath without a screen instead of a shower. A large dead cockroach in the bathroom. Lights outside the bedroom window that were not switched off. Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. The bed was clean and comfortable but the roach had spoiled it all."

"Nyati is beautiful, spacious, friendly, efficient and considerate of special dietary concerns. We stayed in Rhino Tents which were luxurious and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to make our experience amazing. Wildlife was everywhere but we felt safe on the resort and on safari. It was an experience of a lifetime!! "
