Nyati is beautiful, spacious, friendly, efficient and considerate of special dietary concerns. We stayed in Rhino Tents which were luxurious and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to make our experience amazing. Wildlife was everywhere but we felt safe on the resort and on safari. It was an experience of a lifetime!!

Unforgettable Experience

Everything at Nyati Safari Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfortable – ours was located right in front of the river, and on the very first day we had elephants, crocodiles, and other wildlife right in front of us. It was like living in a nature documentary! The meals and drinks were delicious! The entire staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome and taken care of every step of the way. The highlight of our stay was definitely the game drives. Kenneth, Peter, Pride, and Freja went above and beyond, always asking which animals we wanted to see and doing everything they could to make it happen. Each game drive ended with either a morning coffee or a sunset drink, always paired with a breathtaking view of the reserve. I truly can’t wait to go back!

We had a great experience at Nyati Safari Lodge, from check-in to check-out. We stayed for six days and had a wonderful time. All the staff were friendly and polite, and the game drives were both knowledgeable and enjoyable. We did four game drives with Peter, which were exciting adventures as we searched for animals. Also, Lux and Henry were great and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and everything was well-organized. There are a few areas that could use some attention and improvement: -The outdoor restaurant was difficult to enjoy during our stay because of windy and cool weather. It would be helpful if they provided heaters for such conditions. -During the buffet, I noticed some guests refilling their plates without using new ones, which could pose a hygiene risk, especially since many guests were coughing and sneezing. -It would be great if they offered hot drinks like cappuccinos or lattes. When I asked if I could buy one, I was told they didn’t have any, though a coffee machine could easily provide this option. Overall, I highly recommend Nyati Safari Lodge to anyone seeking adventure along with a luxury stay.

Nyati Safari Lodge was a great stay where my wife and I experienced unforgettable moments. We stayed at Nyati for 5 days in July 2026 and got to see the Big Five. Over our stay we partook in 8 game drives and 1 bush walk. The each dining was an experience all in it self. We experienced buffet styles breakfast every morning, main dining area for lunch and dinner, the “Boma”outdoor dinner experience, bush breakfast, and bush dinner. The cuisine was upscale and could be personally tailored to guests needs and preferences. The lodging had a cozy and authentic feeling. We stayed in Chalet 9 which overlooked the Olifants river, where we were able to see wildlife from our bed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The Rangers and guides were very knowledgeable and caring of the wildlife and ecosystem. Nyati was a great stay for my wife and I that fit our budget. We were able to experience many lasting memories.

Loved the Nyati Safari Lodge!!!!

My 30 year old daughter and I had an amazing three days at the Nyati Lodge, went on 6 game drives, saw all kinds of animals and were able to take the time to observe them in their natural habitat. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the area, the animals and the flora and lodge is beautiful, well-equipped and very well organized. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We flew into Hoedspruit and the lodge arranged transport to and from the airport. We would unequivocally recommend Nyati as a place for a true African safari experience.

Gostamos de tudo no Nyati! O ambiente do hotel é super limpo e agradabilíssimo. Os rangers e toda a equipe do lodge são dedicados em oferecer o melhor de si para encontros com os big fives e o bem-estar dos hóspedes. Uma viagem inesquecível para iniciantes no mundo dos Safaris! Essa hospedagem foi um presente no nosso roteiro pela África do Sul. Desde o atendimento na véspera, a recepção calorosa (welcome drinks, roteiro impresso com a programação inteira dos nossos dias), a estrutura do bungalow era impecável! Tudo muito perfumado (um cheirinho de verbena e limão) que vai estar pra sempre na nossa memória. Era aniversário do meu noivo e nós comemoramos no jantar ao por do sol no meio da savana (bush dinner). A equipe cantou parabéns pra ele com um bolo especial. Se puder, organize-se para estar lá aos domingos e viver essa experiência. Fomos recepcionados por hipopótamos moradores do rio de frente ao lodge. Fizemos 4 safaris incríveis, vimos o Big5, além de vários animais de muuuito perto!!! O melhor ranger (Peter) fez questão de ir até o fim para encontrarmos os búfalos. A reserva é imensa e conseguimos conhecer boa parte dela. O amanhecer e o por do sol na savana são realmente inesquecíveis. Todos os funcionários são muito cordiais. Havia apresentação do chef antes das refeições. Sempre muito preocupados com nosso bem estar e satisfação dos hóspedes. Tivemos drinks deliciosos, vinhos de Franschhoek, etc. Fizemos uma massagem agradabilíssima no spa (pago à parte). E a cama king com aquecimento elétrico, super aconchegante, fez com que tivéssemos um sono dos Deuses! Eu amei o Nyati e tudo o que vivemos em 2 diárias. Temos história pra contar até o ano que vem! Obrigada, Nyati!

De merveilleux safari avec des rangers au top, un établissement fantastiquement bien placé pour voir des animaux entre deux games du lodge, du restaurant, de la piscine ! Cela ne s'arrête jamais. Les lodges sont ultra confortables. En revanche il devrait changer d'ERP comptable car les problèmes de facturation cela entachent les vacances, même si tout fini par être résolu à la fin.

Absolutamente impecável em todos os quesitos, desde a recepção no aeroporto até os safaris, o quarto, o atendimento e as refeições. O transfer do aeroporto para o hotel tem um preço justo, e quem me buscou ja era muito simpático. Chegando na hospedagem, a experiência foi completamente incrível. Quarto espaçoso, confortável, novo, bem cuidado e com ítens de higiene de ótima qualidade. A propriedade pensa em cada detalhe que fazem a diferença para um hotel deste nível, até nas toalhas em formato de elefantes em cima da cama e na organização do quarto para dormir. Os safaris são ótimos, em carros confortáveis e os guias sempre dispostos a buscarem os animais. Já no primeiro safari consegui ver os big 5, mas não há tantas variações de espécies além dos big 5 nas redondezas. No rio em frente ao hotel é possível ver vários animais bebendo agua. As refeições são ótimas, completas e deliciosas. E a seleção de vinhos também é espetacular. Todos os atendentes, sem exceção, são simpáticos, educados e prestativos. Experiência fantástica.
