It is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the little front porch listening to the birds. We especially enjoyed the sheep and watching the dogs work to guard their flock. "Excellent getaway location, close enough to all the immenities but far enough away to enjoy the country. Many items were supplied by host, we were happily surprised to have popcorn available for movie night while we watched it rain. I would highly recommend this cozy retreat."

"Stayed here with 5 other people fishing the Megabass tournament on lake fork. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Plenty of room to park boats. Paved roads to house so no dust."

"My sweet man and I took our first little R&R trip together here. It was a little bit of off season time so the grounds had a lot of dead foliage on the little trails on the property. But that was expected. It was peaceful & would go back again. Great quick getaway! "

"We had at a great stay at Music Springs. Perfect spot to get away & relax for a few days. Vicki was very good at communicating with us. The towels, sheets & blankets smelled nice & fresh. Bathroom was very clean. The cottage was a little dusty & mirrors somewhat hazy but not to a point where we felt uncomfortable. It's located off dirt roads so it's understandable. We have family in the area so we would love to visit the cottage again sometime."

"This place was perfect for us. Very beautiful. It was a very cold weekend so we didn't get out much but enjoyed the house and its warmth. The kids loved it here. Room with bunk beds was a big hit with them. It was a great place for family gatherings."

"This is great for four people. The fifth and sixth need to be children. It's pretty small but very doable. Pretty much has everything you need in a lakehouse. No real complaints. Owner is super responsive."

"Overall, we had a very good stay. We were just looking for a few days away for my kids fall break - fishing and kayaking. I’m glad we took our kayaks, the inlet where this property is located was very shallow, but smooth for kayaking. Not good for fishing, since the water was low. As mentioned in other reviews - the beds (master bed in particular) were very hard, and worn out (you roll towards the middle). I’m concerned that the new flooring was laid without a subfloor - I think someone will...

"This house was adorable and extremely accommodating. I loved everything about it. I didn't get a good feel for the neighborhood, so be sure to do some research. That being said... I was traveling alone and did ALL of my coming and going at night. The house also had a security system with a panic button for guests to use if they needed it. The BEST thing about this property was the owner. She was responsive even very late at night. She came over to the property in the dark to check on something...

"My husband, daughter and I had the best stay at the barn! The barn was exactly what we were looking for, and just the perfect place! It was super clean, had all the ammenities and was lacking nothing. We absolutely loved the fact that it wasn’t right in town, and had a country feel. Kristin and Gary were amazing hosts…we so appreciated their hospitality! We can’t wait for another getaway at the barn!"
