"We stayed at this hotel before and after running the Manchester Marathon so we chose it for its location. The staff were friendly and faultless, the room was clean and we had a nice view of the quay, so had all we could have wanted. Many thanks"

"Great stay. I stayed here as I was running the Manchester marathon. The only bad thing was the bed wasn't the most comfortable. And as I was resting before a race, there was a lot of noise from outside which disturbed my sleep. "

"The rooms were new and clean and the location was perfect for my trip. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you are American, don't be concerned about the name "Motel". This is definitely a hotel with all of the amenities you'd want (great rooms, bar, lounge). Coffee shop and restaurant available just steps away, but not in hotel. (Although continental breakfast is available)."

"Our stay was fine and as expected. One thing stood out and that was the size of the breakfast buffet plate, it is tiny. Food was ok but the plate size is the smallest I'd ever experienced. Yes i know i can go back up and get more but who wants to keep doing that? And no, I'm not a manatee, I'm 80kg, 6'0 tall."

"A fantastic stay the room was clean large warm had great facilities including a hob, kettle, coffee machine, plates, pans, cutlery, dish washer, fridge etc. simply grand! Thank you! Walking distance to anywhere you'd want to visit or shop"
