"My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see."

"Where to begin…the room was dirty, old, broken. There was loud music till 2 am. The shower was a glorified tap. There was no warm water. The only thing we liked was the AC. I stayed in many hostel type places in the past. This one topped the list of the absolute worst. Do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here. "

"The hotel has an amazing selection of food (tasty, perfectly presented and crafted), drinks (quality on every sip), and a service to match it all. The rooms were detailed to match the Caribbean chill vibe with a great taste in artwork. I have to point out again the AMAZING service, the staff makes the stay that much enjoyable with a service that is second to none."

The entire island was stunning, and the people were just as beautiful—kind, welcoming, and full of heart. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’re already dreaming about our return. The only complaint I have is that there was very little hot water for showers. But after a hot day the cool showers weren’t terrible."
