The best area to stay in Turjaci is the central part of the village, particularly around the church of St. Anthony of Padua.

This area forms the heart of Turjaci and is where you'll find the most local amenities. It's a small, traditional Dalmatian village, so the layout is quite simple, with houses clustered around the village square and the main road. The church is a clear landmark and a central point for navigation.

For those looking for a peaceful retreat away from the crowds, Turjaci offers a truly authentic experience. It's an excellent choice for couples or families seeking a quiet holiday in a rural setting, where you can enjoy the slower pace of life.

Families will particularly appreciate staying in this central area. There are often private villas and apartments with gardens, offering plenty of space for children to play. The village is surrounded by nature, providing opportunities for gentle walks and exploring the local countryside.

The best time to visit Turjaci is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, September, and early October.

These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures great for exploring without the intense heat and larger crowds of the peak summer months. You'll find the natural surroundings at their most inviting, ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling. For couples seeking a relaxing getaway, this period provides a more tranquil experience, allowing for peaceful walks and enjoying the local hospitality without feeling rushed.

If you're interested in water-based activities or simply prefer hotter weather, July and August are also excellent, though they are the busiest months. The sea temperatures are at their warmest, making it great for swimming and other water sports in nearby coastal areas.
