"Apparently I was the only guest in the hotel during my stay in Villa De Layva and I had to call for some to come check me in. The room was large with a comfortable bed and good wi-fi. The hotel is in a great location a few minutes walk from the main plaza. The lighting system is awkward in that there is only one switch and you have to walk past the common area to turn off the lights at night. The kitchen is actually a microwave, a coffee maker and a snack bar."

"Property, especially the staff were helpful. The only thing I did not like was that my Cesar Salad was dirty and even I brought it up, nothing was done. Other than this, the place is great and hope to visit once again."

"Es un sitio agradable, sin embargo su camino es pedradoso y es difícil para maletas pesadas porque no puede rodar bien. Y las habitaciones tienen muchos zancudos y no limpian las paredes porque encontramos muchos que habían Sido estrellados en la pared. Las vigas del baño no estaban limpias, contaban con polvo, como hongos y suciedad. El personal es muy amable y nos funcionó mucho su asesoría turística, pero olvidaban algunas reservaciones como por ejemplo para la chimenea."

"everthing was fine except for fallowing issue i paid the full amount at the time of the reservation like 25 days before when i do the check out they charge 18.00 us dollars because they said, we do not pay the taxes at the time of the reservation.....i do not understand but finally i have to paid.....also i shown to the receptionst the reservation in my cell phone with the proof that i paid my reservation in full but they say,, anyway you have to paid for the tax....."

"This hotel has a great colonial feel. The rooms are cozy and spacious. I went with a friend and our stay was nothing short from excellent. The breakfast is complimentary and delicious. "
