Campground -like facilities so good for big groups (group of 20 primary school children there whilst I was). Quiet location-based shops etc shut overnight. Great for seeing Buddha and monastery before the crowds, or for pre /post lantau peak hike. Sunset from about 1km up lantau peak hike is beautiful. (as a moderately fit person, I did sunset peak and then lantau peak which took me approx 3 hrs and 2.5hrs respectively)

Room was very clean and spacious. The only thing to complain about was the shower - it could only stay on the right temperature for about 10 sec and then gradually became too hot or too cold. the staff were very friendly and there was a warm neighbourhood feeling about the place. there are plenty of restaurants just across the road and MTR is about 7 min walking distance. One thing to note is that there is no hotel shuttles going to this hostel, airport bus E21 stop is about 10 min walk away,...

This is just what I needed! Comfortable bed, small room, but with all the necessities and spotlessly clean. Toilet and bathroom is tiny, in the Asian Style, but once again, very clean. Air conditioning great, WiFi excellent, staff helpful and efficient. Near to lots of local eateries ( not touristy ones) and could get here on bus A21 straight from airport to Admiralty station, very near to hostel. Lying on the floor stretch your arms out to the sides. Your hands, feet and head are touching all 4 walls. That is the size of the room. There is always a huge line for the lifts Dodgy hawkers in the lobby selling fake watches and SIM cards. Lobby is more of an alley full of vendors than a lobby. No windows.
