"The room is clean but bed a bit rough. No fridge, no control of the heating, no toilet brush. The shower cubicle drainage was too slow that I had to jump out of dirty water. A teacup was left dirty but turned down Why should I be required to deposit £50 for security because I didn't book directly from the hotel? Not good to me."

"I saw a mix of reviews so wasn’t sure what to expect, so glad I booked here! We stayed for one night for a cheer competition and I feel we got lucky with this hotel! It’s a huge place and we got lost finding the room as the layout was not what we expected 😆 it’s like a tardis! but once we found our room we were very happy with it! The room itself was pretty spacious! Very clean, and just really nice! I saw a few reviews saying about loud parties so was worried when we passed quite a loud room in main corridor downstairs, but luckily couldn’t hear anything from the room! Theres lots of pillows on the bed! I was initially concerned by how firm the bed was but actually slept really well! The shower was also big and the whole bathroom was clean! The bathroom mirror was great for doing makeup for competition, and the hairdryer was also very helpful as I forgot mine! plug sockets and usb slots both sides of the bed were very helpful. The only less positive comment I made whilst in the room is that it’s a shame there’s not a light over the dressing table mirror, and the room was cold in the morning but played around with the thermostat and it warmed up after a while! but I wasn’t bothered considering I paid less than £80!! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will DEFINITELY return again next cheer season, I just need to make sure I don’t lose the name of this hotel! "

"Building works but no problem. Noisy guests in the corridor that woke me up at 1:30am. My meal in the grill was badly delayed as the request 'got lost'. Room was large, bed was comfy, shower was good. Free parking at the weekend. Not bad but not the best"

"One night stay, it was clean and adequate and the evening meal was ok, we left before breakfast byt we were offered a breakfast box. All in all quite satisfactory and would definately stay there again."

"Not the biggest room, but bright, fresh & clean. I was in the converted roof area with velux windows. Nice shower (no bath option), lovely warm towel rail at all times, and L’Occitane products. Room has a smart tv with Netflix, a safe, ironing board & iron, good hairdryer, still & sparkling water & tea & coffee making facilities. There is a temp control with fan. Nice quiet room with a very comfortable bed & pillows. There are electric blackout blinds at the windows, but a light that comes on under the sink in the bathroom illuminated the room too much at nighttime for me. I covered it the best I could but the bathroom door is glass (not see through!), so it still leaked out. Lovely approach to the hotel via a long drive with a horse riding school etc. Plenty of on-site parking. Friendly staff & a nice brassiere for dinner/breakfast. "
