"Our stay at Ruru home lived up to all expectations. It had all the home comforts which made our stay special. Great location 5 minute walk to the beautiful Medlands Beach. Will definitely be back for another vacation."

"This house was perfect for our group of 8. Very well equiped, very clean, heaps of room & warm. The only thing Ian couldn't arrange was the weather! We would have loved to use that outdoor fire. My Fat Puku at nearby Claris is highly recommended!"

"Very helpful staff, nice place to stay with stunning views. Just note there are no power sockets apart from a usb socket in the kitchen, complex is run on solar so bring external batteries. Would definitely stay again."

"We love GBI this such a great location. Short walk to the cafe,beach, grocery and Irish pub! Plenty of room in the house out outside for kids to play. Beds were cozy! The place was extremely clean. Gavin was great to communicate with. The sunset from this place couldn’t be better! "

"Tree House was the most perfect place to stay for our little getaway to GBI. The views were amazing, and the hosts were wonderful. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach (20 minutes back because it's up a large hill), and about 10-15 minutes drive to both Claris and Tryphena, so it's the perfect location for home base. We loved it here and would definitely return."
