"Enjoyable stay with comfortable bed, plenty of towels available and close to Ferry landing.Major issue for us was the extremely rough track which wasn't a pleasant experience each time we went out and came back. We would consider it more than a "bumpy driveway". Smart TV did not work after day 2 unless it was operator error. Otherwise everything was available that enables us to have an enjoyable stay."
"At Barrier for my son’s wedding. House a perfect place for the groom and groomsmen to get ready for the beach wedding and reception held at Aotea brewery down the hill. Could not have pick a more perfect place. "

"Absolutely loved our stay. I've been all over the world and have never experienced this level of tranquility. The property has amazing views, is comfortably equipped, and makes you feel like you are at the ends of the earth. Yoga on the deck was amazing, Hilde was a perfect host, and we'll tell all our friends they must stay at X Spot on Great Barrier. A place unlike any other!"
