Location/amenities and clean condo

The location is fantastic. We have 3 young children and having easy, close access to groceries, food, drug store, etc. is very convenient. Many amenities in very close walk range by way of dedicated bike, walking path. The condo has a garage available to use that is attached to the condo. This was great with snowy and wet arrivals as we could unload easily. The entrance from the garage is like a mud room. Washer/dryer is located here and it works well as a drop zone. The garage door/opening is extra tall which allowed us to leave our luggage rack and carrier attached to our Land Rover - this is so convenient to pack and unpack without concern for weather and no need for removal and storage! Excellent for our needs! The condo itself is family friendly with a nice size main area with the two bedrooms at separate sides which is great for napping or early bedtimes. There is plenty of closet space and 3 dressers: 2 in the master and 1 in the "kids" room that has a bunk plus a full size bed. The condo was very clean and well maintained with plenty of towels and bedding. The condo property is also well maintained and quiet. There is an exercise room with a nice selection of machines that are well maintained onsite along with pool/hot tub which is nice. We used the exercise room daily and never had to wait for machines. We highly recommend Soda Springs for skiing and tubing. We've gone several times and always have a great experience. It is ideal for our young kids, parking is easy, staff is very nice and it feels safe. Kids can transition from skis to snowboard rental easily as the rental area for the kid area is convenient to use. There are also snowboards with grab bar and helmets available to easily try without all the necessary rental equipment. Rentals BTW are included in the kids' price for the day. Lessons are also an option at the main lodge area which is at opposite ends. I mention this because unless your kids are skiing all of the mountain and using the chair lifts, a family can easily stay in the kid zone with plenty to do. Overall an easy snow week or weekend for all. Nice community and easy access to Reno or Tahoe if desired. Trukee also has a Kids' Museum which is really a nice play space with crafts, climbing apparatus and pretend play and toys to use. Overall location/trip 5 stars for our casual, young children family.

Nice location, comfortable house

Very clean except some stains on a bed sheet which was washed. Bed in MB was very comfortable. Close to 89 at the edge of town which saved time to Palisades

Outdated but nice

This townhome is very roomy. Plenty of space for 6+ if need be. A nice supply of kitchen ware. Washer dryer worked well. The oven did not heat up though. Great TV appliance and selection of apps or movie dvds. The proximity to Tahoe City really a plus! The two queen mattresses need replacing soon! More so in the 2nd bedroom where the bunk beds are. BBQ works and the surrounding area is pleasant and again easy access was a win!

Property ID 1053262 Review of our weekend

The property was great, we had two issues I do think need to be addressed. One is the master bathroom/bedroom did have a urine odor (possibly from the carpet) and without the windows open it was pretty strong. The other issue is no cable TV, a little inconvenient, we had to try and stream a few shows. Other than that the place is great and seems very clean and conveniently located.

Quiet, large living room with large table. Great for family games.

The home was spacious and clean. There were no odors that were offensive. The master bedroom and bath were great. The other bedroom was smaller but we heard no complaints from family members about it or associated bathroom. The kitchen was very easy to use. Plates and utensils were supplied and we used them. The drapes could be pulled back to view the nearby road. We found by opening the patio door and a window in the small bedroom in the afternoon that the wind would blow through the house for a very nice cool experience. Highly recommend.

The condo is spacious and was spotless when we arrived. We really enjoyed the location. Central to the freeways in the area, this spot has a craft brewery across the street that serves sandwiches and Truckee's main strip is a short drive/bike away. The disc golf course across the street at Sierra College was close enough to walk to. We would certainly stay there again. Thank you !

Great value, convenient location, clean condo

The condo description is accurate and helped to prepare for the stay with our two younger boys. They loved their bunk beds. We found the condo super clean and welcoming, the hydroair heating in particular was quiet and clean. The location is very close to shopping facilities which made settling in after our late arrival even easier to organize. Nearby destinations like Donner Lake, ski resorts or Truckee old downtown do require short drives, which we happily accepted for the overall package we received with this condo.

Great Place As Advertised

The property was perfect for our ski trip. The location in Truckee is close to the ski resorts, taking only 15 minutes to Sugar Bowl. The unit was spacious with a nice kitchen and living area. Our family of four had plenty of space to stretch out in the unit. We also really liked the ability to pull our car in the garage. On cold winter days, it is really nice to be able to load up in the garage and not have to climb into a frozen vehicle.

Very close drive to downtown Truckee and to Truckee Donner. There was also so much open grounds on the property to play in the snow and have snow ball fights. You can also walk to McDonalds, Chinese Food, Craft Brewery, and a little market right across the street. Beds were comfortable and it was wonderful to have a washer and dryer available. Would stay again.

Awesome getaway!

This unit was perfect for a long weekend getaway for me, my husband our teenage son. I especially liked the layout...so the teenager had his space/privacy and we had ours. We loved being able to walk next door to get groceries...plus it was only a 4 minute drive to Central Truckee. Also, the space was spotless and was fully stocked with kitchen supplies. We would love to stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at the Boulders for its convenient location and amenities. In general this place was nice enough but there were a lot of little things that added up to make our stay just ok. *Upon arrival all of the towels had been put away wet so I had to collect them all and put them in the dryer to prevent mildew *A lot of the towels were stained, dingy, and one appeared unwashed yet had been put away *The property offers access to a gym and hot tub. They key card providing access to these amenities was not available to us and the property management did not follow up when I contacted them. *Guests don't have access to the pantry to store food items so you will need to store your food on the countertop *There is a Keurig but no k-cups to get you started, would be nice if they would leave a couple for the first morning since most people arrive late in the evening *Check-out is scheduled for 10am, the cleaning crew was ringing our doorbell at 845am. Any of these things are their own wouldn't be worth mentioning but all together it became annoying. We would stay here again but would look for other options first.
