"Spacious and well laid at home. We had a great short family vacation. It was about two minutes from the ski resort. All the instructions were clear. Everything worked well and was clean. Beautiful location, surrounded by tall trees. One small thing, the large television in the living room did not have an HDMI input, so it was difficult to connect to the smart remote."

"We loved our time here. My 4 year old said "I want to stay here for trillion days!" He loved the bunkhouse, den area and all the board games. Us adults, loved how spacious the place was and they had everything we needed for our long stay including a fully stocked kitchen. "The property was lovely, suited our needs really well and was in a great location. I especially liked having a garage to park in. I also liked that the bedding looked nice in each room and wasn’t mismatched. Suggestions: Adding liquid body soap, shampoo and conditioner in the showers and maybe make a few extra bath towels available (if I am washing my hair, I need two towels and hubs still needs one). I did, however, like the towels being left on each bed. A binder with your suggestions...

"We brought our small companion dog on the trip. Our dog is well behaved and not left alone. It was obvious that other dogs were not as well behaved on the property. IE: pet stains and claw marks. Too bad people don’t respect the property….it was a nice trip to watch ski races at Sugar Bowl"

"We had an amazing stay! The home is set up with guests in mind, as it seemed everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided; including toys and puzzles our 3 year old son. The kitchen was well stocked, comfy blankets available for lounging, comfortable sheets and towels, and the house is spotless. Marcus was very easy to communicate with and responsive, making the booking, stay and departure a breeze. We’ve already booked another visit. Highly recommend!"

"This was a beautiful cabin at the top of Tahoe Donner downhill ski resort. Comfortable couch and even more comfortable bed. Huge soaking tub was amazing to have since my friend was taking a day off from hiking the PCT to Canada. We cooked food and had everything we needed in the kitchen, including a drip coffee machine. Outside is a creek and a small bench that was nice to sit on in the sun. This was my first trip to California and I’ll definitely be back!"

"We enjoyed this property for a midsummer weeklong stay in Truckee. The house is comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated having the full kitchen to cook dinners. Some things that could use improvement: The "bunk bed" bedroom doesn't have a window covering, so it's very bright early in the mornings. The back deck is lovely and has Adirondack-style chairs, but both the deck and chairs were covered in pollen -- it would have been nice if the deck and chairs had been hosed off prior to our arrival. The kitchen appliances are a bit run down, although they do work: the oven door is loose, and the refrigerator produce drawers are cracked. Another note, which is no fault of the property: the house is in the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, and does come with guest passes to the recreation facilities and private marina. But in the last couple of years, this has gotten much more expensive. It's now 30 per person per day to use those facilities. When I did this a few years ago, I seem to remember it was free, or very low cost. 30 per person per day would add up fast for a family.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, but seems that just a touch of additional TLC could make it ideal!"
