North Shore 2-Story Rustic Yurt Glamping Lodge Tropical Nature Rental Near Beach
10/10 Excellent
"The yurt was well located, walking distance to beach & bike path. The yurt temperature was cool with fans in every bed space. The Kitchen appeared well supplied though we did not cook during our stay. The WIFI can be spotty but we came for wedding festivities & beach time so no worries for us. The host responded quickly to our strange requests and the neighbors were lovely. Our child is l11yo and loved it but I understand why it is listed as not for young children. Rustic. Open floor plan. There were no bugs when we were there which was good because some windows lacked screens. There are a lot of dogs about this neighborhood but the barking was minimal and the dogs sweet. We ate fresh mango off the trees daily with permission and our son loved the trampoline. The location was our main objective in staying in the yurt and it met all our wants and needs. "
Spacious North Shore cottage with lush mountain scenery in the country!

"We had the most incredible stay at Jojo's place in Hawaii! From the start, Jojo was a superstar—her communication before our arrival was spot on, and she gave us insider tips on the best beaches only locals know about. She was always available with suggestions on what to see and do, which made our trip so much more special. The house itself? Wow! It was even better than we imagined—tons of space for our family to spread out, super clean, and in such a peaceful area. At night, we loved stepping outside to enjoy the quiet and do some serious stargazing. Absolute magic. And let’s talk about the extras—beach mats, boogie boards, and more were right there for us to use, making beach days a breeze. Jojo really thought of everything to make our trip easy and unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Mahalo, Jojo, for making our Hawaiian getaway perfect!"
"We LOVED our stay at this beach house. Location, location, location!! The views, the easy beach access, the privacy, the convenience of being close to Haleiwa and to a well-stocked grocery store in the other direction...And did I mention the absolutely stunning views from the kitchen, dining area, living room, and master bedroom? We even had visits on the beach by sea turtles and also could often see them swimming just off shore. The house itself was spacious enough for the 6 adults in our group, and while it may be lacking some modern updates it was very comfortable and well equipped. (Well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water.) The lack of air conditioning was not an issue at all - between the ocean breezes and the many fans that were provided we were quite comfortable. The house is located on a quiet street off the main, busy road and we had no noise or safety concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Kai! And did I mention the incredible views?"
"We definitely had a hard time enjoying this place. When we arrived the tiny home was probably over 100 degrees, we had no running water no electricity for over an hour. I was on the phone with the owner trying to get everything to work properly over by the solar panels. There was the last guest pee in our toilet and I’m assuming from the lack of electricity to flush. I got this place for my fiancées birthday and it turned into a nightmare. Like I said great idea but could have been put together a lot better. To cool down the home you have to leave the doors open and all the flys and bugs get in. I wouldn’t recommend "
