Holiday house with garden and dream view of Lake Maggiore

The beautiful house Antonella in Bassano has been built in 1995 and located on the hillside amid a private garden and has a panoramic view over Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains.
About a garden staircase leads through a veranda, guests will find a lot of space for their sports equipment and Seeutensilien in. Or might also want their dogs have a "private room"?

From the veranda comes one enters a spacious living room me a couch and TV.

The well equipped kitchen has a dining table with 4 chairs, a 5-burner gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and coffeemaker.
Also on this floor is a large bathroom with tub and bidet.

About a stone staircase leads to the upper floor with an open roof and wooden beams. There is one bedroom with double bed and exit on the balcony with Traumausblick; another bedroom with thermoformed roof and skylights. There are two single beds which can be pushed over one another.
There is also a bathroom with bidet and shower.

On the south and west side of the house is a furnished terrace draws where they can also smoke - in the house, it is not desirable. In the garden there is a BBQ.

In front of the house, on the street, a dead end leading to the old church of Bassano, there is enough space to park the car (also two).

The neighborhood:
Bassano, a district of Tronzano, is a small mountain village at the end of a dead end, with few inhabitants. There is only a small restaurant in the center of the village. It's best to bring your supplies for the first days. You will find a small but nice grocery store as you drive through Tronzano, about 4 km from your destination.

Supermarket, pharmacy and bank are in Maccagno, about 10 km away.

There are beautiful beaches in Zenna, just behind the Swiss border, there is also a pizzeria and in Tronzano at the Sufschule, where there is another restaurant.

Toller Aufenthalt mit grandioser Aussicht

Sehr schönes Ferienhäuschen in ruhiger Lage, ordentlich ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht, großer Garten, zwei Terrassen plus Balkon, große Fenster und grandiose Aussicht auf den Lago bei Tag und Nacht (Straßenlaterne war aus). Sehr freundliche Vermieter, die sofort allem nachgekommen sind - also sehr zu empfehlen

schönes Ferienhaus

Stichpunktartig: nette Vermieter, geräumiges Ferienhaus, toller umzäunter Garten (ideal für Hunde), Bäder gut, alles Wesentliche für Küche & Co vorhanden, insgesamt nichts auszusetzen, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden wieder hin fahren. Die Straße ist etwas nervig, da diese an sehr vielen Stellen nur Platz für ein Auto hat. Tolle Aussicht, vom Haus aus sind viele Wanderungen möglich.

Perfect View above Lago Maggiore

Only perfect!! The house is located 300m above the lake and offers a fantastic panoramic view on the lake and the mountains behind. Sunny terrace with comfortable chairs. Well equipped. Nice barbecue. Also perfect for our little dog. Little shop about 1,5km downhill walk (a bit steep). Driving uphill is on a typical Italian narrow street. We used our BMW X5 - and also with this German „Dickschiff“ no problem. All friendly drivers! Nice beaches (don’t forget to bring shoes) and great pizza in the area. Ascona and Cannobio (use the boat!) highly recommended. We will come back!! Thank you!!

Haus mit schönem Blick auf den See im Bergdorf

Die Motorcross-Fahrübungen der in dieser Strasse lebenden Kinder waren sehr ruhestörend. Der Außengrill war nicht gereinigt, keine Beschreibung der Heizung in deutsch bzw Ausflugsziele etc. Kücheneinrichtung gehört teilweise erneuert bzw repariert sowie die Duschkabinentür. Für Hunde in diesem Dorf kaum mögliche Flächen. Einspurige Auf- u Abfahrtsstraße

Tolles Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus hat eine tolle Lage mit Blick zum Lago. Leider stört etwas die Strassenlampe, aber darüber kann man hinwegsehen. Die Betten sind etwas zu kurz (meine Grösse 1,90 m), aber auch sehr hart. Ein wenig fehlt die gemütliche Einrichtung (ein paar mehr Bilder, vielleicht noch eine Gardine ..), die Kaffeemaschine müsste mal getauscht werden, ansonsten alles super. Wir werden nochmal buchen ... Susanne und Jörg

Sehr schönes Haus für Familien mit Hund

Das Haus hat eine super Lage oberhalb des Lago. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Auf beiden Etagen befinden sich je ein Duschbad. Die Schlafzimmer befinden sich oben, wobei das Elternschlafzimmer einen Balkon mit Ausblick auf den See hat. Die Matratzen sind sehr fest. Wir haben ganz gut geschlafen. Zum Haus gehört ein großer Garten, der jedoch teils starkes Gefälle hat. Uns hat die Laterne nicht gestört. Die Vermieterin spricht nur italienisch.

We had a lovely holiday! Lots of stuff to do, see, explore. The house is big, lots of space and a great vieuw on the lake. But not very cosy. Owners are very friendly and helpfull.

Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer kleinen Siedlung hoch über dem See. Die Straße dorthin ist zwar oft steil und schmal, jedoch ist der Straßenbelag gut und für gewöhnliche PKW leicht befahrbar. Einkaufen sollte man besser im relativ nahe gelegenen LUINO (ca. 14km entfernt; 30 min. Fahrzeit). Die Aussicht vom Erdgeschoss hinaus auf den See und die Berge ist beeindruckend. Ein wenig stört den Blick lediglich die Straßenlaterne genau vor dem Grundstück. Für Kinder, Ältere oder gehbehinderte Menschen ist das Haus aufgrund der steilen Treppen zum Eingang eher nicht geeignet. Das Haus selbst ist in schlichter Weise eingerichtet. Wer es nicht überladen mag, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Vor uns gab es Kritik anderer Gäste wegen der niedrigen Raumhöhe im Obergeschoss: Kinderzimmer und oberes Bad haben durch die Dachschräge tatsächlich niedrige Deckenhöhen. Es gibt im Erdgeschoss jedoch ein weiteres Bad. Manches im und am Haus könnte sicher etwas besser gelöst werden: - So ist die Beleuchtung in allen Zimmern eher ungemütlich gestaltet, was an langen hellen Sommerabenden aber nicht stören wird. - Ewas merkwürdig wirkt das Doppelbett mit zu kleinen Matratzen und einer großzügigen Umrandung. Schlafen konnte man dort aber auch mit fast 190 cm trotzdem gut. - Im Eingangsbereich wäre eine Garderobe sicherlich sehr nützlich. - Das Sofa im Wohnbereich sollte besser gegen ein neues getauscht werden. Es ist alt und sehr durchgesessen. - Etwas verärgert waren wir, dass online mit der Abbildung einer Badewanne geworben wurde (Stand: Mai '19). Diese Badewanne wurde allerdings gegen eine Dusche getauscht. Hier sollten die Bilder aktualisiert werden. - Es war schwierig, das Haus bei kühlem Wetter sinnvoll zu heizen, da es nur einen zentralen Regler im Wohnzimmer für die Fußbodenheizung in allen Räumen gibt. Manche Räume wurden zu warm, andere blieben kühl (z.B. Wohnzimmer). Die Vermieter waren nett, sprachen aber leider nur Italienisch, sodass die Kommunikation etwas beschränkt bleiben musste. Obwohl es einige Schwierigkeiten gab, haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen. Eventuell kommen wir in Zukunft wieder, falls bis dahin ein paar Verbesserungen am Haus gemacht werden. Wir bedanken uns wünschen den Vermietern alles Gute.

Die super schöne Aussicht

Wir haben das Haus ausgesucht wegen der tollen Aussicht, da wurden wir auch nicht enttäuscht. Das Haus selber ist sehr geräumig, viel Platz und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Was die Küche betrifft, hier sollte man etwas nachbessern und einige Dinge zusätzlich bereit stellen, wie Biergläser, Eierbecher, ein scharfes Fleischmesser und Pfannen die gerade auf dem Gasherd stehen. Beim Doppelbett möchte ich noch anmerken, daß die Matratze nicht zum Rahmen passt und somit für einen Mann mit einer Körpergröße von 1,95m ungeeignet ist. So nun genug gemeckert, das Haus würde ich immer weiter empfehlen, die Ruhe und das Platzangebot, bzw der ideal Standort um den See erkunden zu können ist eine Empfehlung wert. Gruß P. Herrmann

Great Views but well off the main road

A fantastic setting with views to spoil you forever. Clean and tidy house, however we encountered some issues. A shower had been removed from the top bathroom, which we were not informed about, making our stay difficult as we were two adult couples and all had to share a shower downstairs. The bathroom and second bedroom upstairs have limited head height and you will bump your head. The second bedroom is really only for children!! The bedroom doors are glazed with clear glass, we had to sticky tape towels over them for privacy. The bedding was poor and pillows hard. The kitchen is adequate but limited cooking equipment. Broken light above mirror in bathroom downstairs and no plug in basin. They tried to resolve some of the issues and offered a small refund, but we felt let down really. Some pics includes as url's but rejected by the system

Ruhig , Traumhafte Lage

Wir sind mit 3 Personen und einem Hund angereist. Von der Hauptstrasse bis zur Ferienwohnung sind es ca 10 Minunten die man per Bergstrasse hochfahren muss. Die Unterkunft ist sehr groß . Alle Zimmer inkl. 2 Badezimmer sind sehr geräumig. Die Lage ist traumhaft , direkter Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Das Ferienhaus war Tip Top , sehr sauber und alles in optimalen Zustand. Die Gastgeberin sind sehr freundlich , hilfsbereit ( wir waren am Ankunftstag zu früh da). Parklplatz fürs Auto direkt vor der Tür. Zum Wasser sind es ca. 15 Minuten , überall saubere Badebuchten . Einkaufen ist im nächsten Ort , ca.5 Min , möglich ......wir sind etwas weiter gefahren wegen der größen Auswahlmöglichkeit ( ca. 20 Min). Alles in allem für uns ein sehr gelungener und schöner Urlaub, da gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Mille Grazie per la bella vacanza

Haus und Landschaft super! Abet nicht der steile Weg zum Haus.

Da das Haus in den Bergen liegt, sollte sich det Autofahrer auf einen engen und steilen Anstieg einstellen. Der Ausblick ist dann allerdings wunderschön.

Beautiful home in northern Lake Maggiore

Lovely house in a great location overlooking the lake. We had easy and excellent communication with the owner. Just one note - the house is on the north-east side of the lake. It is a long drive if you want to see the Borromeo Islands. But for anything on the eastern side - it is perfect. Switzerland is about 8 minutes by car. Thanks for a great time.

Ruime vakantiewoning met prachtig uitzicht

We hebben de woning voor twee weken gehuurd met 4 kinderen. Het was een erg ruime woning voor 4 personen. Er is ook een wasmachine aanwezig!! De woning was goed schoongemaakt bij aankomst. De tuin is ook erg ruim met twee aparte zitjes. 's Avonds was het even oppassen met spinnen die vanaf het balkon zo in je nek kruipen. Het uitzicht is echt prachtig, dit overtrof onze verwachtingen. Het enige nadeel om dan toch iets te noemen is de bereikbaarheid. Het kostte zeker 10 tot 15 minuten voordat je onderaan de berg was (bij de autoweg). Het eerstvolgende stadje met supermarkt (Maccagno) was dan nog eens een kwartier rijden. Maar al met al een prachtige vakantie gehad in een ruime woning met een prachtig uitzicht.

Tres agréable séjour

Ferienhäuschen mit schönem Blick über den Lago Maggiore in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Ferienhäuschen hoch über dem Lago Maggiore liegt ein wenig Abseits aber toll eingebettet in die Natur. Von hier aus kann man zu kleineren Wanderungen starten oder einfach nur die Ruhe geniessen und den Blick über den See schweifen lassen. Für den aushäusigen Esser gibt es bei nicht all zu anspruchsvollen Erwartungen in der näheren Umgebung 2 nette kleine Restaurants, die auch einen Aufenthalt von 1-2 Wochen abwechslungsreich gestalten lassen. Das Resaurant in Tronzano liegt neben einem Spielplatz und ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. Wer selbst kochen will muss sich auf Einkauftouren einstellen - die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen mit dem Auto ca. 10-15 Minuten entfernt. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist etwas spartanisch und erfordert Flexibilität beim Kochen. Die Einrichtung des Hauses selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und vermittelt kein besonders wohliches Ambiente - hier lässt der "AH-Effekt" beim Ankommen etwas zu wünschen übrig. Jeder hat da aber so seine eigenen Erwartungen. Unterm Strich haben wir uns hier eine schöne Woche verbracht.

Traumhafter Blick auf den Lago Maggiore

Das Haus hat mehr geboten als wir erwartet haben!! Terrassen in alle Richtungen, sogar eine kleine Dachterrasse war dabei, und ein schöner Garten mit Grillmöglichkeit. Das Haus war für 3-4 Personen ausreichend groß. Zwei Bäder zu haben (EG + DG) war natürlich auch super!! In der Beschreibung steht das eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist. Dies war leider nicht der Fall! War im Nachhinein jedoch kein Nachteil. Wenn es mehr als eine Sonnenliege geben würde wäre das super ! Das Haus liegt in der Nähe eines kleinen Bergdorfes (530 m) an einer Sackgasse. Sehr ruhig gelegen und ein traumhafter Blick über den Lago Maggiore. Wir haben es genossen auf der Terrasse zu sitzen , zu frühstücken oder abends bei einem Glas Wein und diese tolle Aussicht zu haben. Wir werden in jedem Fall wieder kommen.

Lovely stay

Overall we had a very nice week in Antonella's house, to start the first week of our vacation. The house in well equiped, spacious, clean, and the location is wonderfull, mainly because of its panoramic view over the lake. It is situated 'above' Lago Maggiore (+/-800m, easy accessible by car), near a small village Tronzano (supermarket, restaurant included) and it is a perfect spot form where we undertook many things; Lido Locarno /outdoor swimming pool (30 min.), lake swimming (Maccagno), hiking (Luino), and visiting nice villages (Ascona, Cannobio) and the lovely islands in the south. We can recommend the house!
