"We were moving up from San Diego to Portland and decided to break up the drive over a series of days to minimize the stress on ourselves and our cat. The Cedar Lake Lodge was a great spot to rest for the night. We arrived around 5pm and quickly checked in. I fell in love with the serenity of my surroundings and the overall ambience reminded me of the hotels/motels of my childhood. The fact that they still have actual keys for their doors instead of key cards was enough to get me excited. The room was extremely clean and despite there being two beds, it was spacious enough for three grown people to move around with ease. The staff was helpful when it came to finding a local restaurant to eat at (Penny's Diner is open 24 hours and their staff was awesome!)! Highly recommend this place if you are wanting peace and quiet and a trip down memory lane! "

"We were not expecting such a lovely hotel but it surprised us. The room was very nice, we got 2 queen beds for 3 people. It’s was comfortable, roomie enough for the 3 of us. We had breakfast included at the dining hall at the lobby. They could up that a bit, but the staff were great and very accommodating."
