Casita in Old Trinidad

  • Casita is a vintage, remodeled house from early 1900s - 2 Bedroom, 1 bathroom with a shower only, big, dog-friendly fenced backyard, screened in back porch, southwestern decor. Hot-water radiant heat, thermostat-controlled in each room. TV and internet available, dishwasher, street parking, or park in driveway. Lots of trees, sidewalk out front. Garage for storing bikes, kayaks, etc, only. No parking in garage.
    Walk to downtown, visitor center, grocery, historic places, Trinidad Reservoir has great fishing, just west of town. Three hours from Santa Fe New Mexico - 1 and 1/2 hour to Taos - Beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains nearby, Santa Fe Trail came right through town. Town dates from the 1600s, located on the Purgatoire (Purgatory) River. Newly-opened Colorado State Park, Fisher's Peak has wildlife viewing, mountain biking, hiking and camping, located just outside of town to the south.
