"Overall experience was great. Staff was friendly, professional and all around great. Lots of outdoor areas to hangout and spend time outside. Pool area was nice. Minibar was stocked with good options and the prices are not bad comparing to other hotels I've stayed. It was almost cheaper to drink from the minibar vs. The actual hotel bar. Pool area was nice but maybe in the busy season it could get growded. Each room has Echo device with Alexa, so you can play music or get other information easily. The room i stayed was clean and good but some things were little outdated and rundown, some USB charging ports by the bed was not working, the thermostat screen and buttons were damaged but i was still able to turn down the temperature, i just couldn't see the actual temperature reading. But because the staff was so great and my stay was great, these things did not bother me. TV channels are all in italian, or at least the 100+ channels i scrolled thru, so if you like watching TV during your stay and don't understand the language, i recommend to bring your own movies or tv shows. "La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip. "

"This room was a great size and the separate shower/ toilet to sink area and large wardrobe room was great when you have four people sharing. The room had plenty of space and the balcony and seabird were great. We found the breakfast quality to be good and varied and loved the pool ( big enough to swim in properly and not too busy). Yes the hotel is down or up a steep drive depending which way you approach and driving through Taormina isn’t easy ( narrow streets and people everywhere) but the town is beautiful and the hotel was in a great location - easy walk to restaurants. We did a road trip around Sicily and this was one of our favourites in terms of location, room, view, food and pool."
