"The staff at B&B Cortese was so friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. The breakfast was really a treat. There is very little prepared to order, but the baked goods were excellent, the coffee nice and strong, and the yogurt home-made. From the cafe terrace you have a view of the harbor and a lovely clock tower that seems to be being restored. The rooms were clean and nicely stocked, not spacious but room enough to feel comfortable moving about. The hotel is just next to the University Metro...

"This is a lovely little boutique that is incredibly close to the center of Amalfi city. Everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful. Just keep in mind that there are 124 stairs to get from the street to the hotel's door, so if you have mobility issues this will be a problem. "The rooms were large and had new bathrooms with hot water. The host was extremely helpful. The elevator and door system is strange for a US citizen but manageable.The continental breakfast was fine. A cab was ordered for us to go to the airport and it was right on time. "
