"Lovely stay but spoilt by food quality "

"We had a brilliant overnight stay in this old pub in this tiny cove. The staff are really lovely and the food was excellent. Very comfortable bed and a nice clean fresh bathroom. Breakfast was large and tasty. There's a bit of plumbing noise but you can expect that in old buildings."

"All the staff were very helpful and friendly from reception to spa to waiting staff, could not fault them. Also the food was really good, we ate in the more relaxed restaurant one night and it was lovely. Breakfast was always fresh and varied. We used the pool and spa but didn’t have any treatments. The area was always clean and well looked after and the pool was lovely and warm!"

"It was great to have a pool and steam rooms. All very clean, however it wasn’t clear that they were open to non residents at certain times so when we wanted a swim the pool was full of children. Staff very friendly and helpful and food in restaurant was excellent. "
