"This is a beautiful property but not exactly like a typical hotel. The buildings are sort of scattered through the property - like separate homes. Reception is tucked away down a path. No real lobby to speak of. The pool is beautiful. I came during the off season - very hot - rates were amazing. I had the entire place to myself. My room was gorgeous. I stayed in Santa Clara - huge room, beautiful bathroom, lovely outdoor patio, nice little kitchenette. It was perfect. My bed was amazing - the mattress and pillows and bedding - all luxury. I highly recommend this place. There are no food options. So just know you have to go out for snacks, drinks etc. but there is coffee in your room."

"I absolutely love this hotel and this beautiful little town. We were greeted at the Baja house by Jose. He was very kind and informative. We loved the place so much that we decided to stay an extra night. We loved the place so much, that I have decided to spend my fiftieth birthday here with my friends and family. I can go on and on about how great this place was, but you should experience for yourself. Also wanted to mention it is located right next to a small market and all the great restaurants and cantinas. Wonderful stay!"

"Staff was extremely kind, helpful and very responsive. Any requests was fulfilled immediately and we only had to send a quick WhatsApp text to have a cab called and arrive within 10-15 min. The property was just as we expected. Our room was clean and peaceful with a beautiful view from our patio. I hope to return and stay for longer."

"Good instructions provided for check-in and key management. Host responded quickly via texts to the few questions we had. Convenient location, but somewhat noisy between the traffic nearby and construction across the street. Never found the pool or bicycles mentioned, but did use the El Faro beach club membership twice. While a bit of a trip from town, the El Faro property was well-appointed with good bar service and wonderful food."

"Kenny was welcoming and explained things perfectly. Property was in great shape and very comfortable. Property is on a semi busy road so a bit of road noise at times, but not bad."

"Hacienda de Pacifico was magnifico! The unit was spotless. The outdoor area was too. There was a beautiful pool and lounging area outdoors that was a common area. The West Wing Villa was spacious and lovely with a private terrace. All the amenities included. Kim, the owner, doesn’t miss a thing. Everything needed for a stay is here. Even reusable shopping bags, beach towels and beach bag. The internet is pretty slow and sometimes spotty. If you’re doing a working vacation, be aware. Zoom/service dropouts happened. Not too frequently. Amy, the property manager is the true gem here. She solved every issue promptly (not that there were many, just a couple) and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. She had some good suggestions for dining and activities too. Elvia the housekeeper was also fantastic! The A/C was cold and very nice on hot days. Great hot water, plus a super kitchen and complimentary drinking water and local coffee were a nice touch. We look forward to our return visit!! "
